According to his auto-biography, Friedkin said that originally Pacino was suppose to have a butch/buzz haircut in the film, but he looked like a shrunken old man with a tiny head with so little hair so they waited for it to grow out 😂

Friedkin hated everyone, which was kind of refreshing for Hollywood.
