For about a solid decade around that time, the Bears were making banger draft picks. It was a steady build toward Super Bowl XX, and The Fridge was a nice example of them spotting talent. His SB TD carry was a lot of fun, though I admit I’d have loved to see Payton score one.

He was pretty fast for his size. Imagine Refrigerator Perry landing on you. OMG!

Still get chills watching that.. What a great player, great team and a great time to be alive as a kid and a Bears fan.

What a fun Era, I only wish we could have bagged two super Bowels. We had the best team ever in my opinion and unfortunately couldn't do what the packers didn't recently..win for over a decade.
