Oklahoma police arrest house is representatives member. At around 2:15am Oklahoma city police came across a small group of people hanging out on a patio of a closed bar. They approached the group and instructed them to leave as the business was closed. Oklahoma state representative Dean Davis refused to leave thus prompting the officers to take him into custody as he was visibly intoxicated. Dean felt that he was above the law and could not be detained trying to claim immunity. Officers quickly told him otherwise. Dean insisted he was immune and demanded the officer read a state law card from his personal belongings. In the end Dean did go to jail that day. Upon release he was censure by the house and stripped of all his committee appointments due to his conduct. Dean also was arrested in 2019 for DUI also while a state representative. Dean did plead guilty to his charge and issued a letter of apology to the OKCPD. Dean is no longer a state representative as he lost his bid for re-election in 2024. Good on the people of Oklahoma for kicking him to the curb. Great job to those officers for getting it right and giving him the same treatment as any other citizen.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections has confirmed that the incident was legitimate and not a joke. Been watching a lot of footage of 2028 QB and now Alabama commit Charles Scott Jr. According to 247 in 2025 the 6’5, 255 lb sophomore threw for around 3,600 yards and 41 TDS on 178 completions. Only throwing 4 INTs!!! Scott Jr (son of his high school coach) has obvious massive upside given his size. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that already as a sophomore, he has an SEC build. The Good: - Kid is LARGE, much like Alabama’s recent five star commit Elijah Haven, Scott’s size allows him a full view of everything going on around him on the field. Mechanics benefit from his size - strong throwing platform. - Flashes plenty of natural strengths, including an explosive arm that doesn’t seem to have to work very hard to push the ball vertically. - Even as a developing HS quarterback, Scott Jr already shows a lot of finesse. Accuracy in highlight tape (provided below from Scottboyz on YouTube) is on the upswing, especially on layered and touch passes. - Although not technically a massive run threat, Scott Jr, given his size, can stress defenders on the ground, especially in short yardage situations. Areas for Refinement: - Shows promise with timing routes, but will get better as he matures over the next couple of season. - Mechanics are not fully polished as to be expected from a young QB, but raw traits still shine. Footwork under pressure! - Will grow into faster processing speeds as he continues his path. Will need this as he makes the talent jump to the SEC. All-in-all, this is a rising recruit in the 2028 class - one that will garner a ton of attention over the next several months, especially now that Alabama fully seated at the head of the table. Another potential eval masterclass from Kalen DeBoer, Ryan Grubb, and Bryan Ellis. The scheme fit for Scott Jr is perfect at Alabama. The size and arm talent are there, with touch on the way. Xzayvier Brown had a strong performance in his debut game for Oklahoma. 18 Points 4 Rebounds 5 Assists 7/15 FG Brown made his High Major debut and stood out in a big way with his scoring and playmaking ability, leading his team in points, and assists while also playing a major role in his team getting the win against a strong Wisconsin team. He’s someone that sets to be one of the most talented guards in the SEC this season.

For this week’s Great Rosary Campaign, we are once more praying for Scott Adams. We previously prayed for Scott last summer, given his cancer diagnosis. Now we will pray for him again because of his recent announcement that he will likely pass away soon, AND that he intends to convert to Christianity. We mourn for the former, but rejoice in the latter! Scott has been a huge blessing to many people, including me. Let us pray the Rosary for his conversion to the Catholic Faith, in particular that he is able to receive Catholic baptism before he enters eternity. The suggested penance this week is a 24 hour water fast (nothing but water), adjusted for your state in life. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ, for instituting baptism for the full and complete cleansing of all our sins, and the reception of the Holy Spirit into our souls! We ask, especially through the prayers of Your Blessed Mother, that Scott is able to receive this greatest of gifts before his passing so that he may live with You for eternity. God bless you, Scott! Thank you for everything. We are praying and fasting for you!

Quite a while before they removed him, I was told by a level above David Rhodes that they were trying to fix what they call 'The Scott Pelley Problem.' One of the issues they had with him was, as it was told to me, he takes his managing editor role too seriously. He was interfering with the correspondents’ stories in a way that was not productive. Longtime CBS names that you would recognize were complaining to the high executives. My experience was, when they named him, I was told by higher-ups that this new show without Katie Couric, with Scott Pelley, is gonna be all about what YOU do, your investigative reporting… And the very first week, the very first investigative piece, one of the best ones I think I ever did that I offered them, HE censored. Never aired. That was the pattern and the story, for me at least, of Scott Pelley at the anchor desk."
