‘Willin' ~ Little Feat Midnight Special 1974

Best concert I ever saw was Little Feat and one of Lowell’s last in October 1978. They were touring the Waiting for Columbus album, which is the best live double album ever produced in my humble opinion.

Around that time, my buddy and I in LA shared a pot dealer who was a good friend of some of the members of little feet. This guy had a party at his place in Malibu outside and little feet performed. What a day.

Two points. 1. Little Feat not being in the R&R HOF is a crime of the highest magnitude. 2. God bless Frank Zappa for firing Lowell George.

Played Dixie Chicken over & over. We had no $ but we had an excellent stereo system w 4 on the floor speakers. Could be the most undervalued band ever. The songwriting exalted the common people and their adventures. Singing was harmonious and good. When the band elevated the temperature, boy were they in sync and talented. Everyone who hasn't listened should do so stat!!

Little Feat with Lowell George. It just doesn't get any better. That is perfection.
