It appears that maybe his arm got hit if anything, and that was because he was holding out his cell phone, which again no real cop would do. Both DMK and ADMK had made things so easy for Vijay that he keeps scoring with very basic executions day by day. What should have been a hygiene factor looks like an achievement because that is how bad both those parties were. The moment Vijay came to power, he included the parties that extended support for his government in the cabinet ministry. While this may sound so obvious, the fact that Congress, VCK etc were not given this opportunity for decades of being in alliance with both the parties has made Vijay look superior. Both the parties that spoke of social justice lost their faces there. Vijay came out and made a bold statement that no one should ask or give bribe in the Government sector and if anyone asks, people can outright reject stating Vijay's name. Plus he carried out some basic clean up operations in many departments to put an end to the commission practice. While this has not ended corruption totally and we do not know how successful this operation will be in 5 years time, he has the image of being the Champion of ant-corruption campaign in TN for the first time. No one stopped the other two parties from doing this. But they were so comfortable in running a corrupt system that benefits them and their ministers too. Today people are celebrating the live telecast of assembly sessions everyday. This is infact the electoral promise of both the parties in the past but they never executed. This is not even a technical challenge. All it takes is the intent to make the sessions transparent and Vijay simply had to do that. By doing this, it is not just the majority of DMK MLAs who are getting exposed, even a few TVK ministers' activities are being questioned. But Vijay is ok with that and he is bold enough to do this. A 2-day-old foal bouncing with excitement to see her mom 🐎💞 I watched this video and found it so adorable 🥰 It’s just a little filly, only two days old, named Miss Tehya. They were leading her out of the barn. And yet her legs kept bouncing, her head stretched forward as if she was about to meet someone very important. She wanted to run to her mom. Her legs were still clumsy, her steps unsteady, but you could clearly see how happy she was. It was as if the only thing worth doing at that moment was getting closer to her mother. Foals can usually stand up and follow their mothers just a few hours after birth. That’s an instinct that keeps them from being left behind. But watching Miss Tehya, it didn’t feel like just instinct. It felt more like a little child eagerly running toward the person she trusts the most. Miss Tehya was born at a rescue farm and is being raised safely. But while watching the video, I didn’t think much about that. I just saw a baby horse happy to be with her mom, and it made my heart feel a little lighter. For people who raise horses, this moment probably means even more. It reminds us that the bond between a mare and her foal starts very early, and that keeping them close from the very beginning really matters. ‘They just want the dignity of being confirmed in their sex … or their ‘adopted sex’, if you like.’ I wonder if this is the kind of person the BBC’s Nick Robinson had in mind when he made this comment during a recent BBC Radio 4 interview about the EHRC’s guidance on single-sex spaces. And I wonder whether he realises that, if people were entitled to have their ‘adopted sex’ recognised under equality law, women would be unable to exclude men like this from their changing rooms, toilets and even domestic violence refuges. I also wonder whether he would want that for his wife or daughter. Or feel it was ‘dignified.’

That was Andy Garcia’s reality. And he was not the only one. Thousands of Cuban children were separated from their families because their parents knew what that system was doing. It was not just taking homes or businesses. It was trying to control people completely. Their future. Their beliefs. Their identity. Their freedom. Imagine being forced to choose between raising your child and saving your child. Some families reunited. A lot of them never did. Now look at Cuba today. Cubans are sitting in the dark without electricity. They are struggling to eat. They are in the streets banging pots because it is the only way left to make noise. And while that is happening, these activists fly in, sit in air conditioned buildings, speak into microphones, eat catered food, and call it solidarity. Give me a break. You cannot claim to stand with oppressed people while being hosted comfortably inside the system crushing them. That is not compassion. That is not solidarity. It is performance. It is propaganda tourism. Cubans are not asking for luxury. They are not asking for pity. They are asking for freedom. And no staged event, no fake activism, and no polished propaganda trip is going to change that.

James Stewart on what makes a great film performance: In a 1972 BBC interview, the legendary actor was asked how he approaches biographical roles like Glenn Miller and Charles Lindbergh. His answer revealed a philosophy he'd developed over decades in Hollywood. "You have to make a thing believable without using the device of acting. And that doesn't make any sense at all." But then he explained what he meant: "Over the years, I've developed a theory. I'm getting to believe that in films, what everybody is striving for is to produce moments. Testimony from Sul Aidil: - They were treated with extreme cruelty as soon as they arrived at the port. The IDF showed no respect, their hands were tied behind their backs, and they were forced to kneel. - Among them was an elderly delegate with a back injury who had to lie down, still with his hands tied behind him. When they were later ordered to move, everyone had to do so on their own while still restrained. The older man struggled to move, and when the others pleaded for the soldiers to help him, the IDF coldly replied that he could “do it himself.” - Since their hands were tied, they had to use their feet to push and move their belongings. - In prison, they were constantly disturbed every two hours, just as they were about to fall asleep, the IDF would come and bang on the cell doors or shout their names to keep them awake. - The activist Thiago, who was in the opposite cell, told them that this was part of the IDF’s psychological tactic to prevent the detainees from resting, to break their spirits. - Each time they were disturbed, the delegates would respond by chanting, “Free, free Palestine!” until the guards became irritated. -They were treated like criminals.
