Willow Smith - Whip My Hair (2010)

She had no business sliding on this beat like this at just NINE YEARS OLD 😂

Timeless Banger

She really did her big one for all the lil black girls 💗

Being a young black girl when this song came out meant everything to me 🥹

When i was 8 i didnt realize how good these old pop beats were….hearing rude boy for the first time as an adult after growing up on it it BLEW MY MIND

This was such a beautiful song

and the vocals/stage presence clearing 99% of today pop girls

i whipped my hair so much in a dance group i had headaches

NO MATTER IF ITS LONGGGGG OR SHORTTT

Still a BOP! 🎶💃🏾

Everytime I see this I think about how she immediately quit music altogether form years as a protest to her Dad’s pressure to be the next big star. A young Queen had standards and boundaries before she could drive. Icon

Like the peak anthem for black girls🤧🥰

You know what I love? Independence. Willow one day said “…naw”, shaves her hair and and never looked back. Wouldve made Michael Jackson say “IKYFL” the way he wish he could’ve been like that to joe at her age the way she was with her dad Will and his “vision”

The backlash to this had me turning into a Black Panther

Willow and Jaden’s music is sooo underrated 😩

That beat was so bomb!

9 year old me performing for the family

Jay Z was giving out Rihanna floor cuts.

Essa música é boa até hoje!

If anyone hasn't check out her latest albums they are so good and take me back to my warped tour days.

Song still slaps

This song went triple platinum in my bedroom 2010 and on my iPod touch .

I was 4-5 singing this song and listening to it like crazy 😭😭

I don’t know why the comments are gassing this up it’s straight shit from the beat to the lyrics.

when this first dropped and i heard her i thought it was Rihanna or am i alone 😬😬

Made sure my stiff 4c hair was moving back in the day

North West could never

thus shit gon always hit, i love her vocals & adlibs on when she says “whether its small or short”

la única nepo baby que amo

Life was so perfect when this drop @sunnyskyxox
