We’ve spent trillions globally over the last decade trying to get off fossil fuels, and they’re still 80% of our energy because they’re that good! Solar and wind, EVs, batteries, all have their use cases but they’re extremely expensive and not reliable. The only real alternative for energy generation is nuclear, and that has historically been vilified by activists. So Dr. Ayana is not being honest, we’ve tried to transition and the tech just isn’t there! And no we’re not “f*cked” because none of the extreme climate models are coming true, heat is safer than cold, crop yields are at an all time high, and extreme weather is not getting worse.
