Left to Him, He would continue His sleep inside that same storm & nothing would happen. When the storm is tired of “roaring”, it would stop. It takes great faith to rebuke a storm, but it takes even greater faith to sleep & relax in the midst of the storm, irrespective of how fierceful the storm is. This reminds me of the story of Smith Wigglesworth… One night, he was awakened by a creaking sound in the sitting room downstairs. When you grow up in a small town you think “ I can’t wait to leave the small Town”. What you can’t replace is the memories and people that make the place special. Yesterday Winthrop took home a state title. Surrounded by thousands of Viking fans and supporters. My nephew a freshman was able to be a part of this team. What makes the story special is everyone in those stands would stand behind these kids at any moment. In 2022 my nephew lost his mother to a courageous battle with cancer. The senior goaltender has a story for the ages also losing his mother but the path he has took to be the best person/ student out there. The list goes on .. It’s more than just a game for these kids in this small town. It’s about the support the get from those around them during times of need. It was an emotional day. But in the end “it’s for the town”. Congrats Vikings.

There was something deeply moving in Colin Davidson paintings when they first caught my eye… the unadorned humanity, the sense of people and place, realism and impressionism symbiotically coexisting… pain and beauty, reflections, mystery, stillness, movement, getting to the raw heart of the matter. The wonder of it all pulled me right in, and held my gaze. When I sent Colin a note conveying my admiration a few years ago he revealed to me his love of music and how a hothouseflowers gig in East Belfast back in 1988 was the first ever gig he went to! A night of joy and celebration during a time on our island that really needed joy and celebration! I invited Colin to a gig in Bangor a couple of years ago and while we were hanging out afterwards he asked me could he paint my portrait! My heart stopped in giddy delight! We’ve since become good pals.. and one of the great honours of my life has been sit for him in his studio.. where we talked, and listened to music, as he sketched and planned the portrait which he unveiled to me just a few days ago! It was a truly beautiful experience… for which I’m eternally grateful! Here it is!! ❤️

today would have been Oliver Tree birthday . he brought me so much joy just to know a creator that loved and breathed his art 1000% every time I see him I felt like I wasn’t doing enough .. but it wasn’t just the work as a musician it was life . he lived it every moment to the fullest - he gave everything in his bones to making the world a better place with his music . a lot of people might have just been turned on to him that wasn’t familiar . and he would be so happy to see the impact he had .. at a great time with everyone looksmaxing, faking their way to the algorithm and making music for the money - he tried to steer humanity into a greater place where being the best version yourself is the greatest gift you can give... this is one of the demos we had - in retrospect it makes me cry to listen back to.. what a big heart this man had

Physics professor Walter Lewis demonstrating gyroscope precession. A gyroscope is a device used for maintaining or measuring angular velocity and orientation. Precession is a change in the orientation of the rotational axis of a rotating body. The gyroscope effect was discovered in 1817 by Johann Bohnenberger; the gyroscope was invented, and the effect named after it, in 1852 by Léon Foucault for an experiment involving the rotation of the Earth. I’d like to share with you a story from a listener. 🎶✨ "I happened to come across this by chance. I’d only ever heard it on the violin, so this is my first time hearing it on the cello. It’s a piece I’ve always kept deep in my heart. It takes me back to late autumn, long ago, when I was in graduate school for architecture. I met a female student from Daegu by chance. Using a project as an excuse, I went down to Eunhaesa Temple. The air was thick with the scent of apples along the roadside… and the fresh fragrance of her kiss, sharp and vivid, like grass cleanly cut by a sickle.
