Wow. UK podcast Locus eaters which covers politics, culture, thinks New Zealand’s last chance is NZ First. They are surprised that amongst the political dross in NZ there is a party led by veteran who has all his career fought against neoliberalism which gave us globalisation and with it mass immigration. The panel attacks Luxon as a ‘gormless’ gimp - who has sold NZ out to Modi and will turn NZ into a satellite of India, and see the parallels between Britains political ruling class (uni party Conservatives & Labour) and National & Labour. They laugh at and dismiss Act. Embarrassing for us is that these guys cannot believe how gullible kiwis are to sign up to the dog shit India FTA, and allow temporary politicians to change our countries demographic - “NZ will never be the same- Unless NZ First is given a much stronger hand”. Interesting insight of how the world sees NZ and an outsiders perspective on our political environment. Well worth the watch, a sobering warning that unfortunately is ignored by too many voters. The only way to save New Zealand.

🚩Tony Blair just dropped a bomb. Blair, one of the architects for the Paris Agreement and Net Zero has just said the UK needs to drop it or go bust from the cost of renewable energy. It follows the same sentiment recently trotted out by other globalist luminaries such as Larry Fink. Why? because they need ample cheap electricity to power data centres. They also know that the world is realising the emperor has no clothes. Will NZ though? Winston Peters and NZ First have long been saying the same thing, NZ emits less than 0.17% worth of global emissions, the US, China, India and Russia aren’t even beholden to this climate con straight jacket.. who signed us up ? National. It obliges NZ to pay over $30 Billion to foreign countries - to ‘help them transition’ to who? Mainly China and India (in addition to NZ funnelling 35 billion for the India FTA🥴). Lunatics. Luxon is a Paris devotee ‘we would be mad to leave the agreement, it will compromise our free trade agreements!’ stated Luxon. He has made it abundantly clear on multiple occasions that he is ‘totally committed’ to Paris with every fibre of his dumpy little body. ACT & Labour have also reaffirmed their commitment to this de-industrialisation conspiracy driven by the death cult global elite by their full throated support of the dog deal that is India FTA that further ties us to this economic death sentence. Seymour had previously followed WP’s lead by saying we should dump Paris, but soon after changed his mind due to “International Obligations” - for example the India FTA. NZ must get out of this crap, and it will take WP’s experience to extricate ourselves from ‘International obligations’ that various stupid govts have signed us up-to. NZ First is campaigning on doing just this, getting out and renegotiating these agreements is our only shot at rebuilding this economy, we need to vote our way into reality.

Today the India FTA is signed. It will then go back to Parliament to pass into law. Unfortunately only NZFirst oppose this awful deal, so it’s likely to go ahead. In the last few years we have seen masses of industry close. A large part of this is our high electricity prices, partly because of the green scam, but also because we have a sector that the electricity & generators and sellers are one and the same meaning they can manipulate the prices for maximum return. Timber and paper mills have gone to the wall, WP & Shane Jones went to Cabinet to get government to help, however Act and National wouldn’t support it. Watties will close at the same time tariffs for all processed and frozen foods from India will be dropped. Our vegetable market is worth 1.1 Billion a year. That’s worth more than what the India FTA deal is expected to add to our economy. 90% of the veges kiwis consume are grown here. This is about to change. We will start eating a lot more food processed in India and other third world developing nations. Highly productive farm land around NZ is being turned into tickey tacky subdivisions favoured by new immigrants. National is devoted to net zero, and Luxon this week celebrated that our emissions have been the lowest on record, that’s even lower than during lockdown. Last year for the first time in NZ history residential users consumed more electricity than industry. NZ industry is dying and National, Act and Labour are all for it. Once this deal is signed not only will we see an uptick of Indian migrants, but also an exodus of NZ manufacturers to India. As part of the FTA agreement and the 35billion NZ investment into India that it commits us to, the NZ govt has now openly encourage NZ business to offshore to India and to hire Indian staff. What is going to be left for the young people?

🚩Maiki Sherman inferred Shane Jones is stirring up hatred and violence towards Indians, while apeaking with Luxon this morning. Ridiculous. Luxon admits he will relax India’s Visa process and says following the Uk’s and Australia’s immigration policy is extremely important for NZ. Sigh. Australia right now is trying to slow down its runaway Indian immigration, and just have a look at the UK - it’s a mess. Winston Peters gave an excellent 10 minute speech on why he’s determined to stop the deal, that even prominent Act supporter KC Gary Judge describes as a “dangerous constitutional Trojan horse” “I’ve seen the future this immigration trade deal can bring, I see it on the news in Europe, in Ireland and i’m going for broke around the country to put a stop to it” The audience were shocked to hear the lousy amount the Indian FTA is expected to return - “Just mere 1% of GDP by 2050”. WP explains that most trade to India will be redirected from existing markets, and in exchange Luxon, Seymour and Hipkins have agreed to direct 32 BILLION of Investment to India for the privilege. The deal that reinforces Co-Governance, and the cripples us with the Paris agreement is total dog shit. India receives 100% tariff reduction on day one, NZ has to wait years for ‘some reductions’ that India have the ultimate say on if and when that happens. No dairy at all, or ever. We can export apples - but only for two months of the year, and it gets more absurd - it’s the two months of the year that NZ doesn’t produce any bloody apples. “This is an immigration deal, with rights for work for uncapped students!” to reach someone in the audience replies: “What about our children!?” “We have to go to Australia to see our grandchildren” says another. “National Act and Labour are globalists. they take instruction from the UN, WTO and not from New Zealanders”

PM Chris Luxon laughs out loud when Mike Hosking asks him about NZ First's $1 billion oil and gas survey fund. The fund would cover seismic surveying operations in NZ's known oil and gas basins and hopefully provide subsurface data that will encourage explorers to drill. Mr Luxon also says it is ironic that NZ First helped kill the industry off, but now wants to spend money encouraging it. Well, maybe, but the National party is also due some irony itself. Rather than being part of the govt's 100 days of action, the reverse oil and gas ban legislation wasn't brought to parliament until late last year. As well, Mr Luxon has again and again emphasized to the public that hydrocarbons are a "transitional fuel" and would be phased out to meet net zero targets. His govt has pushed investment in "alternative energy" and of late has announced the building of an LNG import facility. None of these actions encourage oil and gas explorers to come to NZ. Mr Luxon is correct in accusing NZ First of helping to shut down the industry, but he's not free of blame himself. At least Winston Peters has admitted his error and is doing something real to correct it. Rather than faffing around with expensive and impractical solar and wind projects.

Mr Luxon also says it is ironic that NZ First helped kill the industry off, but now wants to spend money encouraging it. Well, maybe, but the National party is also due some irony itself. Rather than being part of the govt's 100 days of action, the reverse oil and gas ban legislation wasn't brought to parliament until late last year. As well, Mr Luxon has again and again emphasized to the public that hydrocarbons are a "transitional fuel" and would be phased out to meet net zero targets. His govt has pushed investment in "alternative energy" and of late has announced the building of an LNG import facility. None of these actions encourage oil and gas explorers to come to NZ. Mr Luxon is correct in accusing NZ First of helping to shut down the industry, but he's not free of blame himself. At least Winston Peters has admitted his error and is doing something real to correct it. Rather than faffing around with expensive and impractical solar and wind projects.

Luxon and Willis have lost confidence of the business community with a wave of negative feeddback from business leaders squarely aimed at them being run in media. Last week it was Oliver Hartwhich, Simon Bridges and Craig Stobo, now Jordan Williams from the Tax Payers Union has just claimed that Willis and Luxon are pandering to the left for votes, and the amount of Bureacrats has INCREASED under National as well as our debt borrowing and they are taking us down a path of destruction. In this morning's Radio NZ interview he let slip that there will be more work needed after he has introduced the oppressive and authoritarian "age verification bill". This is most likely a reference to other issues of censorship tied to the Broadcasting Standards Authority and "hate speech" concerns. Luxon is clearly ready to join in the ideological war against free speech being waged by his lefty friends Kier Starmer (UK) and Anthony Albanese (Australia). The PM had said previously that the age verification legislation would be in place before Christmas this year. Now he's saying it will be in place before the election. Those who value free speech on the internet will therefore be able to make this a prime election issue. Tell your local MPs how you feel. Make Mr Luxon and his band of National party imposters know that throwing in with a bunch of liberal women (some of whom will profit from the legislation) to attack internet free speech is not necessarily the good idea he thinks it is.

New Zealand PM Chris Luxon rejects outright the suggestion that his govt might use nuclear power. Instead, Mr Luxon wants to double the supply of “renewables”. He says nuclear would be unsuitable because of NZ’s earthquake problem. However the threat of earthquakes in Japan is pretty similar to NZ and they are expanding their nuclear energy resources. In 2023, nuclear power accounted for approximately 8.5% of Japan's electricity supply. They intend to increase this to 20-22% by 2030. Partly to reduce CO2 emissions in line with Japan’s Net Zero obligations. So why is it OK for Japan but not New Zealand? IMHO the renewables obsessed Mr Luxon and the gormless CEOs running our mainly govt owned energy generation/ transmission companies are going to send NZ industry to the wall. Leaving aside the effect constantly rising electricity prices have on the man in the street. Through grocery prices and other everyday purchases. If we leave coal, hydro, gas and geothermal aside for the sake of the argument, nuclear may or not be a viable energy option for NZ. However it can’t be any worse than the fools errand we are presently on with wind and solar.

One of the biggest issues appears to be making it easier for Indians to get student visas to study in New Zealand. Currently about 10% of student visas NZ hands out go to Indians. India wants us to take more. NZ currently rejects quite a high proportion of applicants from India because we want to make sure they have enough money to provide for themselves while they’re here, and want to ensure they’re really going to study rather than just use it as an excuse to sneak into the country - some of the homeless people in Aucklands CBD are apparently international students, so it’s important to get this right.
