wip (3) I'm still struggling with cloth physics. I've reshaped the physics mesh/visual mesh more than 10 times and re-done the physics settings/mask painting more than 10 times. I think I've gotten the movement of the cloth to my liking now.

Did you know that in Blender you can easily make pillows with the 'Cloth' modifier? ✨ 1. Select the object that's gonna be beneath your pillow 2. Press 'Collision' on the physics tab 3. Add a cube and add some loops to it with Ctrl+R 4. Press 'Cloth' on the physics tab 5. Enable 'Pressure' and set the custom target volume to 1. You can tweak this value depending on how big your pillow is 6. Decrease the collision distance in 'Object Collisions' 7. Press space to play the animation 8. Press Ctrl+3 to add a subdiv modifier with 3 levels to make it look smoother! You can choose a frame that you like and apply the 'Cloth' modifier to make it into a static mesh by going to the Modifiers tab, hovering over the 'Cloth' Modifier and pressing Ctrl+A! For better results add more loops to your original mesh! ✨ #b3d

Still trying to fix the cloak cloth physics. I'm not sure why the enemy's cloak looks good while hers looks messy. I had to disable cloth collision, so her cloak doesn't get stuck. Maybe it's time to check Magica Cloth? How easy is it to implement? #madewithunity #indiegame

Motion: DancerVTuber 海 夏青 Outfit: MONVIE_VRC Sharing a few quick tips: ✨Simple single-layer skirts → Mesh Cloth for the smoothest, silkiest movement! ✨Complex pleats or multi-layer skirts → Bone Cloth, but if bones aren’t dense enough and leg clipping happens, switch Connection Mode to Mesh-related options. It creates mesh-like links between bones and fixes most clipping instantly. ✨For simple double-layer skirts, you can also try applying Mesh Cloth to each layer separately and enable Self-Collision ✨Small frills, ribbons, or ties without bones → slap Mesh Cloth on them too. Fun Fact: RDR1 has better cloth physics than RDR2 In RDR1, shooting actually affects the clothes, but this detail doesn’t exist in RDR2.

I was worried that live2D body physics would mess with walking but it doesn't! :D To make everything more flowy/bouncy, I had to redo the animations but it looks so much better now! -^u^- Also, please excuse my horrible physics! My model is still super WIP!

The low poly meshes I created are much, much faster with physics / collision than those directly from the splat to mesh translation. Amazing. I now have an end to end workflow for generated 3D worlds with usable collisions. Works great in VR and mobile too ...

Finally some progress to report. -New weapon (AR) is made it into the game now. Other 3 new weapons are coming soon. -Updated the gun/layered animation framework. -Update cloth physics (used with hair) and now it's truly ready to use with the entire outfit. More soon.
