@nextjs @ethanniser @ksw_arman One of the most interesting Next projects I've worked on, really cool seeing how fast it can go with mostly defaults - excited for people to see what we've built

@nextjs @ethanniser @RhysSullivan @ksw_arman Probably doesn't have the same business logic underneath, that's always the contributing factor. Frontend can always fly fast by default until you introduce the business constraints.

It’s true that the “real world” adds complexity, but we specifically made this a dynamic website (hence callout to Postgres and logged-in support) to show that the architecture is sound. You could have done something “similar” to this demo with Jamstack / Gatsby a few years ago, and then it’d fall off that complexity cliff you’re referring to when adding personalization or millions of products.
