Wipeout (1995)

A game from 1995 has more soul and aesthetics than any game that's out now for consoles.

With NVIDIA DLSS 5 On

2097 though..that was such a great sequel. Banger after Banger from the sound track

Everything about the original Wipeout was sublime, epic soundtrack by Tim Wright and amazing identity and design from Designers Republic.

This was sick…. The music tracks was amazing

This is the foundation of my taste in music

Loved this game and its soundtrack.

I've never played Wipeout. It looks sick

Absolutely adored that game, there was nothing as stylish as WipeOut! It was so stylish in fact that it was promoted in night clubs (super new at that time). For the first time a game that felt more mature. Nothin was quite like it when it came out! (I was 16 😅)

Now that was a proper game…

I never understood why they never brought this game back with today’s more powerful consoles.

We used to be civilized

This is an amazing game til this day. It's like if F-Zero met Excite Bike!

I feel it just now. My brother and me played this countless hours. That were golden times.

I so want a modern version of this game

I still own the disc. I pop it in my functional PS1 to play the game, or in a CD player to play the soundtrack. Truly a golden age of gaming.

my 2097 prodigy firestarter instrumental memories override my wipeout 1 memories unfortunately

Loved trying to play this. Even though I was absolutely toilet at it.

Can’t believe you’ve played a clip without ‘Firestarter’ that tune on this game was ELITE

Spent hours playing this with my brother! Trying to dodge missles haha! What a classic, thanks for uploading

I tried this as a kid and I was just crashing into the walls. Absolutely frustrating. But I absolutely believe that it was stunning if you were able

Two words; CoLD SToRAGE. The soundtrack is amazing.

I remember when I first saw it—the graphics were sick. It was when I stopped using the Mega Drive and begged my mum for the PS1

The Virgin Megastore classic 👌

The best racer’s videogame ever made

2097 tiene la mejor banda sonora de la historia de los videojuegos de carreras

I think we played this and jet moto

Reminds me of F-Zero

Still looks brilliant & great sound track

Simpler times.

Recently played it on an emulator. Plays like a modern game, a classic.
