One does not need to put their life in "real danger" to understand that you should, and could, control your emotions better in situations like the airport.

It's like how you don't "need" to go to school to learn something, but it certainly helps.

Hey dude, What advice would you give me, a 38-year-old who has never climbed before and is planning to start? Is there any recommended initial training? thank you bro!

This works as a great starting point. If there is anything you're curious about, feel free to ask.

The extreme Alex takes things to is likely due to the fact that he was raised with no physical or verbal affection and is still trying to win his parent's approval. He was never hugged. He had to learn to hug in his 20s.

I don't freak-out about airports or other little streses in life but I see no need to put myself in situations where I could die. Not everyone needs to be pushed to the edge to value life. Does this guy have a family and kids who depend on him?
