Wish I could have seen him play
13 Yorum
I did. Many games at Forbes and Three Rivers. Arriba!
I remember watching him on tv. Never saw him in person. I wish it was 4K back then.
I was fortunate enough to see him, several times.
Looks like the 1971 World Series.
Absolutely
Same here. Phenomenal player and human being.
I did. He was an incredible player
Roberto was my favorite player when I was a kid. I had his thick handle 34 oz bat. Copied his stance. Power alley was right center. I checked his box score first every single day. And I’ll never forget the day we lost him.
He was phenomenal
I watched that entire World Series with my mom. Every afternoon when I got home from school we sat and watched. He was amazing. And bring back day game World Series.
He was great. National League all star outfield every year was Mays, Aaron, Clemente for about 10 years.
He ate the Orioles lunch in that series!

![Nicolas Batum says his "only regret" in his career is not playing longer with Tyrese Maxey. "If I have one regret, I wish I could have played longer with him [With Tyrese] Maybe the only regret I would have in my career is like, he’s one of those guys like, I wish I could have played maybe longer with him. When I was younger—I was maybe too old now to play with him—but I wish I could be younger and play with him longer. He’s my son’s favorite player, by far. Like, my son loves him. He’s got like his jersey, got three jerseys of him, like all over his room. He loves him. I’ve been to the visitors' locker room like one time in two years—when we play him—and my son wanted to go see Tyrese Maxey and get his jersey post-game."
