Today completes our 60 days of Punjab Flood Relief & Rehablitation Sewa. Apart from sending Motorboats , Ambulances, ration kits and setting up of a mega warehouse for all household items at Ajnala , we were able to do Desilting of appx 200 acres of land. Dewatering operations are underway across nearly 100 acres of landlocked area where stagnant water had no outlet. Special 4.5 kms pipelines have been laid to ensure proper drainage and water flow, bringing much-needed respite to farmers and residents. SEWA CONTINUES ......... Under mission Chardhikala Punjab ,In a significant step towards flood relief and rehabilitation, I launched large-scale flood rehabilitation and desilting operations in Ajnala Ramdas of Amritsar District on Sunday. As part of the operations, 15 tractors and 5 JCB machines were deployed for desilting work in village Nangal Sohal and Mehmat Mandira Wali and adjoining areas. After offering Ardas at the site, highlighted that nearly 40,000 hectares of crops have been damaged in Ajnala by up to eight feet of waterlogging, leaving poor farmers in urgent need of support to clear sand and prepare fields for wheat sowing.

Pakistan continues to send aid to Gaza, #Palestine Under the directives of the Government of #Pakistan, the ninth batch of aid has been dispatched to the people of #Gaza today, with the cooperation of Al-Khidmat Foundation. The aid consignment was sent from Karachi to Aqaba Port in Jordan. Representatives from NDMA and Al-Khidmat Foundation were present at the dispatch ceremony in Karachi. The 300-ton consignment includes medicines, hygiene kits, and ration bags. Previously, NDMA has sent eight consignments totaling approximately 1,000 tons of aid. These consignments included special tents for weather protection, blankets, surgical supplies, medicines, essential items for women, and ration bags.
