Nobody talks about the longevity of Sheikh Abdul-Rahman Sudais. We all grew up listening to Sudais and many people memorized the Qur’an through his recitation. After over 40 years as Imam of Masjid Al Haram, he is still going till today. At an age where many voices begin to fade, Sheikh Sudais recitation still carries a rare brilliance. Time has neither touched his voice nor the soul within his tilawah. A truly unique individual, May he continue to live long.

He was filled with emotion as he started the Salah🥺❤️ May Allah reward him with the best of rewards for his efforts throughout the years. May Allah forgive those who have passed away in this clip. World Leader of Tijaniyya, Sheikh Ali Al-Arabi Arrives in Nigeria Ahead Of 11th National Maulud The Grand Khalifa of the Tijaniyya Order, Sheikh Ali Al-Arabi, has arrived in Nigeria to attend the national prayers and the 11th National Maulud of Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani. The Tijjaniyya leader arrived with a high-level delegation from Algeria and was received at the airport by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, and the Khalifa of Tijaniyya in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi. Also present to receive the entourage were top government officials. The Ambassador of Algeria to Nigeria was also at the Presidential Wing of the airport to honor the arrival of the distinguished guest. Speaking to journalists shortly after the reception, Sheikh Ibrahim Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi expressed gratitude to Allah for the safe arrival of the Grand Khalifa. He described the visit as a significant blessing for Nigerian Muslims and a boost to the spiritual atmosphere ahead of the Maulud celebrations.

The new era of Sheikh Yasir… My students always ask me how do we improve our recitation? How do we improve tune and melody? I tell them to improve their Ahkaam of Tajweed and Makharij and your recitation will improve by 99%. Sheikh Yasir is a prime example. Not that his recitation wasn’t amazing before, but he had mistakes in his Tajweed and now that he has corrected them, his recitation has levelled up greatly. May Allah reward those who advised him on his mistakes and the Sheikh for correcting them.

Today is a truly blessed day as we joined our own Sheikh Abdulkadir Salman Solagberu when he delivered his inaugural Jumu’ah sermon (Khutbah) and led the prayers as an Imam of the National Mosque, Abuja. Following the prayer, I was honoured to host Sheikh and some Kwarans for lunch at my residence. May Allah (SWT) bless Sheikh Solagberu, the Malami Ubandoma of Ilorin Emirate in his new role, grant him success in leading the Ummah, and accept his service. Ameen.
