With Elementary Educators watching from the gallery, Lecce responded to questions about growing levels of violence in schools with a reannouncement on cellphone bans from 2019. This Minister never fails to show how out of touch he is with the state of public education. #onted

@ETFOeducators I’m starting to wonder if “remove distractions such as cellphones” really means “make sure nobody ever documents how bad it actually is…”

@ETFOeducators Answer the question. You are the Minister of Education. The violence occurring is not because of cell phones. Students are disregulated and are not controlling their impulses. Parents if your child has been affected by a violent incident in their classroom please tell @Sflecce

@ETFOeducators Everything Lecce says he’s doing doesn’t even come close to a solution for the violence. His solutions is equivalent to using a little squirt gun to distinguish a house fire. #firelecce

@ETFOeducators I’m starting to wonder if he should go back to school to learn how to answer a question!!

@ETFOeducators It's a great example of Conservative ways of distracting from a question. All answers must circle back to the Party's latest self serving propaganda.

@ETFOeducators What’s he vaping? He’s so out of touch. No help. #fireLecce

@ETFOeducators Why does he have this job?

@ETFOeducators Gee, I'm actually impressed he didn't reference the carbon tax.

@ETFOeducators Ridiculous. Yes…cell phones are the reason for the violence. What a fool.

@ETFOeducators We need a plan to keep students and parents accountable for the trauma and property destruction caused by students in rampage daily in our classrooms. Special classes for these who can’t cope with the rest of the class.
