Vitalik: It was no coincidence that Luna was not built on Ethereum On November 20, 2022, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin said in an interview that crypto communities should refuse to foster environments that enable harmful behavior. He criticized the Bitcoin community for appearing to unconditionally support powerful figures who back Bitcoin, citing El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele and the country's top-down, coercive push for Bitcoin adoption as an example. Until now, accessing Canton Network as a developer meant learning Daml. For most of the Ethereum ecosystem, that was a wall and the institutional infrastructure on the other side of it remained out of reach regardless of how good your product was. Zenith changes that. Your existing Solidity contracts work on Zenith EVM without modification with the same tooling and one RPC endpoint change. The developer experience is EVM-equivalent: Hardhat, Foundry, MetaMask, all working exactly as expected. What changes is what your application can now touch: Canton-native assets, Daml-based settlement workflows, and institutional counterparties running live production operations on the same ledger. Zenith isn't a bridge or a rollup, but an execution environment designed in a close collaboration with Digital Asset, the creator of Canton Network. EVM transactions are wrapped into native Canton transactions, validated by every Canton validator, and settled with the same determinism guarantees as Daml native. #WATCH | Mumbai: NCP-SCP leader Rohit Pawar says, " I would challenge the Election Commission, in 2017, you had allowed the opposition parties to do some investigation with the EVM but what had happened was that you specifically told not to touch the EVM so I would request as a citizen of this country to touch the EVM and that too, any EVM which we say and that should happen in front of the media. We will bring our technical team, all opposition parties and those in power will also be there, just give us 15 minutes...doubts need to be cleared and once it is cleared that the machine is foolproof, then no one will speak against EVM or Election Commission but to clear those doubts at least one opportunity has to be given...we are just saying what people are talking about..."

What is Monad, and what makes it different? “When I first met (Monad Co-Founder) Keone, the idea for Monad was something that I was sort of waiting for somebody to come along and tell me that they were going to do. Almost every single implementation that is EVM-compatible today is a fork of Geth. Why are they all forks of Geth? The answer is because it’s really scary to rebuild the EVM. If you have a bug, if you mess up… like it’s just a nightmare scenario, right? And you guys obviously know this because you guys spent the last three years building the EVM from the ground up. And somebody’s going to do that. I’ve been saying this, writing this, talking about this, and nobody was really doing this. And then Keone showed up and told me, ‘I’m going to do that.’ And I said, ‘I want to invest. I think this is going to be huge. I think this is going to be one of the most important things that happens for the EVM in its history since the launch of Ethereum… Now it’s a pretty obvious idea.
