That is a tragedy. Haven’t played the second part, but the first game was one of the most brutal emotional experiences for me, since i went through hell at the time i played it.

It was an amazing experience. Such a strong narrative 🥹

Truly oustanding. At that time i was mentally broken, couldnt work for almost 3 years and spent months in rehab facilities etc. Lucky to be here today and stronger and healthier than ever. But playing Hellblade at that time was brutal. It broke me several times and at times i was shacking while playing it. Both as a positive and negative experience, but the game will always have a special place in my heart.

Played both and liked both, hell, even loved the first one. One of the few games that actually made me uncomfortable and panicked during certain sections.

I didn't know a third one was being made. Well judging from the video, a little too late. It took Ninja Theory two full releases to finally make a "game" with "gameplay" in it. They gambled too long on this approach, and they lost it.

They kind of fucked up with Hellblade 2 , the game was in dev for so many years and at the end we got less than the first one. That’s on Ninja Theory man. After Tameen left NT the studio really went downhill.

It is sad but why did Hellblade 2 take 7 years? They basically guaranteed their shuttering.
