With one minute left until halftime down 46-23, Powell County walked off the court and forfeited their game vs. Montgomery County.

Earlier in the second quarter after an altercation between players, Powell County’s entire bench except for one player was ejected for leaving the bench and coming on to the playing floor.

Honestly, I don’t know the entire context here but if I’m a coach and my team is getting home cooked, cheap shotted and there is a potential fight brewing because the refs have lost control of the game or never had it in the first place, I consider doing the same thing. Maybe they were just poor sports but the video I’ve seen seems like maybe they were just protecting their kids. Which is really what they are supposed to do.

Maybe a new job for the commentator? My ears hurt and he can’t get thought out of his mouth without stopping to think if it’s too much

Well, if the refs are going to be held accountable, at some point the coach has to determine what is in the best interest of his kids. Obviously this is an extreme measure, but maybe do a ref review at some point.

Idk if the commentator is ready for these big games. Might need to put him back on 6th grade duty.
