The GRU compromised routers used in homes and businesses to steal emails, passwords, and authentication tokens of high-value intelligence targets. Given the scale of the threat, we needed to act. The #FBI will continue to work with international and private sector partners to identify GRU cyber activity and impose costs on state-sponsored actors who target the American people.
