With passengers arriving at Chennai Airport finding it difficult to get cabs thanks to the rains, TN Govt has started deploying buses to pick up passages right at the entrance of Arrivals!! Great move…👏👏 .MTC Chennai .CMOTamilNadu

@MtcChennai @CMOTamilnadu Why is this a Rain only thing? Why not Buses (with luggage space) running from Airport to important areas, from where people can take Cabs to reach their homes, everyday? Ideally a bunch of A/C buses should be doing this on a day to day basis

@MtcChennai @CMOTamilnadu All the MTC buses going in GST should go into airport. This will be huge relief for people who can’t afford cab. Now those people are walking all the way to the bus stop outside airport.

@MtcChennai @CMOTamilnadu At the Hyderabad they charged 260 for Airport to Hitec City, 35 km stretch for the electric bus while cabs were showing around 2000 which is more than half of the flight cost. These e buses are luggage friendly too
