I mean, he’s 30. He’s won everything, he’s set for life , and that injury is serious. I know it’s not a popular opinion, but maybe walking away on top, still healthy overall, with massive money actually makes sense. I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong, but it feels like a solid choice.

He will get a patellar tendon graft for the ACL and repair of the LCL. With today’s surgical techniques and surgeon’s ability he will be back for the 26 season for the 2nd half if not sooner.

That is not true. ACL recovery is 6 to 7 months now. Not 9 like the past.

Doc, I was surprised he had the surgery so fast considering the ACL + LCL were torn. He's increased his risk of developing chronic stiffness. We don't know the level of swelling/inflammation, but it is difficult to believe it was so minimal to allow for next day surgery.

October of next year is when he will start playing will miss the first 4 games and the league will give Kansas City the earliest bye week which is week 5 so probably Monday night October the 19th at home vs Las Vegas Raiders
