With the just released 10.47 iOS app version, we are adding Live Activities. In particular a one which accompanies video/photo upload.

It does not fully resolve upload in background questions, but brings a useful tool which should better facilitate available background time given by the system. More Live Activities coming!

@engineering Sport scores coming?

Has the iOS three dot issue ( update made the hitbox too small and almost impossible to press ) been fixed yet?

Hi. I know other IOS blind users have mentioned it, but just adding to the voice. Accessibility is broken on timeline, tweets are not read. Know resources are stretched, but would love a fix. Thank you. #a11y

We Need Fleet Story Back

Any plans to expand this further?

I’m a blind user on the iPhone and I am now unable to read posts in my feed without opening it. Are there plans on fixing this which has recently broken in the latest update?

Will you ask the AI about this for me?

What would be the target audience for this feature?

Anyone who uploads photo/video from iOS

it would be cool if you also used the live activities to improve notifications

Sr. Albon estou me em português brasiliano, obgda

So are you saying that it uploads in the background and won't interrupt if we run other apps?

For some time given by the system to our app background task yes. If our is suspended we will let you know so that you can open it back and resume

@engineering Hi Ilnar, In this update, accessibility has significantly worsened. The iPhone screen reader no longer reads posts directly on the timeline; I now have to expand each post individually to hear its content.

Nice!

Cool

So any other features coming for live activities??? Would love if spaces could use this both while using the phone and on the Lock Screen!

The accessibility bug has been squashed. Thanks guys!

What are other use cases covered for live activities?

What are live activities?

@occupymars42069 Uau: grande iniciativa.

Looks great! Do you happen to know when new testers will be accepted for TestFlight?
