A lot of people still don’t no what’s going on. Stuck on Rachel Maddow and CNN 😂😂😂

I think South Korea is much better off than North Korea today because of the Korean War lol

no one under 50 with an IQ over 80 is fixing to go die for a bunch of jews in the middle east....again. US is going to have a serious insurrection problem, but i'm guessing they're going to give away 5-6 figure bonuses to the underpaid people of this country to get them to go.

This your freedom is under attack has been played out. Let me go bomb a country thousands of miles away cause they might take away our freedom doesn’t even have. Any logic.

It's was cool until they said the repression of blacks and minorities

That was an intense scene. I for one want more broccoli 🤣

Vietnam won, and it seems to be doing okay.

If they try to draft us let’s just fight here. If we’re going to fight and die it might as well be for our own people

Shows used to get deep. The Wonder Years, it really was.

I watched the original airing and felt bad for the dad. Now I feel bad for the kids. The kids were right.

Fucking pussy draft dodger. If you havnt been to war, I don’t want to hear your fucking opinion

I just love the irony. The character John is portraying is a "boomer" promoting ending the wars and empowering the people to really be free. Flash forward 50 years and the same people are causing/advocating the same things they protested and fought against in their youth.

If you believe Vietnam was about preserving American freedom you’re a complete idiot. Like you might as well believe in Santa Claus

You’re completely retarded if you think a draft is possible based on any current events.

Way back then there was signs... I was too young for that understanding though.

Im 41, if I was drafted today i would go and fight, and maybe die, but I would fight none tha less.... I would die for my country, for my countrymen, for my family and friends. It would be an honor....

Vietnam was a dumb war and if you read the history you’d know it too. Ho Chi Minh would have won a democratic election in Vietnam and the Americans didn’t like that. This is all public knowledge now as docs have been declassified.

Possible draft??? You can't be fucking serious??

I’m with the young hippie dude. I’m supposed to give my freedom away so rich people can do insider trading??? No thanks. America has been dead for I over 20 years

“Possible draft”

We all need Coca Cola, though. We all need to stay debt slaves.

Vietnam was terrible we were decimated by gorilla warfare. These photos came out, bro. It was over. We didn’t look like the good guys.

Maga

The hippy guy was right.

Identifying freedom and America with the government is probably the most communist thing you can do. But by all means continue to prove conservatism is all about conserving the boot on our necks. Or just move to fucking china.... please.

Once you’ve been to Cambodia, you’ll never stop wanting to beat Henry Kissinger to death with your bare hands. You will never again be able to open a newspaper and read about that treacherous, prevaricating, murderous scumbag sitting down for a nice chat with Charlie - A Bourdain

“And these two will be next.” Fuck man, it must hit different when you think the one getting holes in them is not his friends, but his kids. And for what? American life is sacred, but our government doesn’t believe that

Simple solution For anyone that doesn't want to die in Iran, don't enlist. Let the big boys take care of the big problems.

This is also why the US basically stops teaching about wars past WWII in school. The rest get tiny paragraphs and mentions of "bringing freedom."

That was my favorite show back then. I teared up watching this scene. My dad was drafted and he stayed in for 26 yrs. They have to believe it was for something. Brave fearless unafraid men yes they were but they also didn’t know the truth. Now we do.

My mom said it was a weird time everyone's brother or cousin was getting killed and you would know cause they got food put on their doorsteps and ribbons out front of the house.

All in the Family had a serious episode about a draft dodger friend of Mike’s. Archie’s friend was visiting as well and he had lost his son in the war. It was a good episode.

If the brave men and women saw what was happening today in our countries (UK, Canada, USA) would they still go fight ? I don’t think so

The fact that I can completely see both sides and understand both perspectives from where they’re coming from. And that’s exactly how I feel about the Iran war going on right now. I see both side sides, but the one thing I know for sure is they’ll never tell us the truth about everything and I’ll never know all the details and why we’re really truly there. But if you’re a soldier who sent to fight for our country you have my upmost respect. Because of you we are free.
