Labor retained the total value of the stage 3 tax cuts, but redistributed them far more fairly. That's not a broken promise.

Well said and thank you for being the only journalist who hasn’t gone to the dark side of Murdocracy. 👏

@TheRealPBarry you are a breath of fresh air. The lnp are sliding into oblivion even though msm are desperately trying to herald their relevance

The difference in coverage is because Albo repeatedly denied he was going to break his promise right up to the day before he did it. And some of those Abbott cuts were really just a reduction in indexation, which isn’t a cut.

@QuentinDempster Really? In the face of LNP’s and especially Morrison’s multiple breaches, like his five secret ministries, this announced and generally welcomed improvement is a serious problem? I’m more upset about open support for Israel myself.

The ABc was guilty of this too. Lisa Millar and Speers harping on about whether Albo’s word is his bond.

duse ,, there are still stage 3 tax cuts , no promise has been broken , everybody still gets a lolly pop and a fairer suck of the sav , only news readers are complaining like they didnt get theirs ,poor natoli , that handbag she always wanted remains out of reach
