He extended his arm over the hood, if anything got "hit" it was that, as the driver's wheels are clearly aimed to the RIGHT, trying to LEAVE... Why was she a threat? (She wasn't) Who was she a threat to?! (No one) Why did they need to forcibly remove her from her car? Also, why didn't they just let her drive away, wasn't their goal to stop her from blocking the street?! And as a US citizen does she not have a right to protest?! Today, I attended the launch of Job Sikhala's book at SAPES Trust, which drew a notable crowd, including prominent opposition figures like Nelson Chamisa, Charlton Hwende, Thabani Mpofu, Ibbo Mandaza, and Arnold Tsunga. Interestingly, the highest bidder for the book was the Director of Ceremonies, who happens to be Sikhala's nephew, offering US$200. However, I noticed that even opposition leaders didn't seem to take Sikhala seriously, as evidenced by Nelson Chamisa and team's decision not to purchase the book. In contrast, I demonstrated to Sikhala that we love to seem him succeding in life for as long as he tores the correct line. Despite the event being attended by embassies stuff i stand as the highest bidder at US$750, funded by my sales of sweet potatoes and two sheep. This gesture shows that indeed a country is built by its people(NYIKA INOVAKWA NEVENE VAYO) and we welcome everyone. My brother, despite your travels to Switzerland, where you spoke negatively about your beautiful country, Zimbabwe, not a single person from there has shown interest in buying your book. Similarly, no official from the USA has purchased it, and even those you've staged protests for have ignored you. However, I've taken the initiative to support you by buying your book. It means we appreciate you more than those who didn't visit you in prison. I encourage you to reconsider your stance and join ZANU PF. After all, money has colour even those who speak againstst accumulation of wealth by fellow blacks also need it. To all opposition youths out there who are discouraged from partaking in President Mnangagwa's empowerment initiatives by these opposition leaders, today is an example that they deny you out of jealous and double standards. Well, we guess that the U.S. is so trustworthy that the world can believe whatever it says. After all, it didn't lie about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction. What do you call it when you place a contract on the desk to hand over $500 billion of your mineral rights. Then state if you fail sign it, all communication systems for your front line military will be disconnected? This is the current threat from Trump to Zelenskyy. He is telling him to sign it, or Musk will switch off Starlink access. Pause for a moment to consider, the President of the United States is making a conscious decision to facilitate the extermination of Ukrainian soldiers and citizens unless Zelenskyy signs over 50% of its mineral rights to the US To be clear, as of June 2023 Starlink expenses for Ukraine are covered by the US Department of Defense through a contract with SpaceX. As of December 2023, Poland remains the largest single contributor of Starlink terminals to Ukraine, providing 19,500 out of 47,000 delivered. Elon Musk is not providing the terminals for free. He is being paid handsomely I would suspect by the DOD. The disconnection would NOT be for Musk to decide, it would have to be a DOD order to their supplier SpaceX to disconnect. This is the textbook definition of geopolitical extortion. I would also suggest that disconnection of Starlink would amount to the President of the United being complicit in an act of genocide. Another infamous trophy to add to his plans for the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Gaza. One must assume that the cost of the terminals is money already appropriated by Congress. It would seem for the first time in American history, the a US president is imposing reparations on the VICTIM of an illegal invasion. At the same time, he is proceeding to carve up Ukraine with an indicted war criminal who is the perpetrator of the crime. All without any representation of current stakeholders in the conflict. Firstly, aid provided by the US was not a loan nor was it $300 billion. Congress appropriated $174.2 billion through the five Ukraine supplemental appropriation acts enacted FY 2022 through FY 2024, of which $163.6 billion was allocated for OAR and the Ukraine response, and $10.6 billion was allocated for other, primarily humanitarian, purposes. Additional funds of $18 billion were allocated from annual agency appropriations and $1.1 billion was allocated from other supplemental appropriation acts. Since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Congress has appropriated or otherwise made available nearly $183 billion for Operation Atlantic Resolve and the broader Ukraine response. In addition, the United States provided $20 billion in loans as part of the G7 nations extraordinary revenue acceleration loans initiative. For Trump to claim any reparations whatsoever is simply invalid and possibly illegal. The aid was voted on, approved and appropriated by Congress. The President has no authority to convert it to a loan or suggest a retrospective quid pro quo. Of course he can negotiate a deal for mineral rights with Zelenskyy. I would suggest Zelenskyy agree a further arms package that reflects a fair price based on a percentage value of the rights. Do it with a memorandum of understanding that the contract for rights will be signed on delivery of the agreed arms shipments. The contract should not form the basis of a ceasefire and be subject to the U.S. not lifting sanctions on Russia. It really is time someone brought some clarity to the situation. NATO allies should be protecting Ukraine against this hostile act of aggression by the US. They really have nothing to lose now, because Trump is going to walk away from NATO anyway, possibly withdrawing US forces from the Balkans and possibly even Germany. Allies should be threatening not to renew leases on US bases and the cancellation of military contracts. In addition move to the revocation of U.S. licenses for European military technology. It’s time to stop pussyfooting around with this threat to European security. Zelenskyy should simply not engage with Trump until parameters are agreed.

I am calling for the resignation of the Chief of the Capitol Police, Mr. Sund, and I have received notice from Mr. Irving that he will be submitting his resignation. Speaker Pelosi also stated that she had not talked to you since the initial breach of the Capitol, but according to your transcribed interview... You're on the phone with Speaker Pelosi a few times. Well, let me just say this. Many of our Capitol Police just acted so bravely and so with such concern for the staff, for the members, for the Capitol, for the Capitol of the United States. The second call was when I left that location, as I was walking away I met up with Mr. Stanger and we started walking over to the Senate to go brief the Senate when Jennifer Hemingway, I believe it was Jennifer Hemingway, handed me the cell phone and it was Emily Barrett's cell phone calling her and it was Speaker Pelosi on the other line. This is my second call with Speaker Pelosi. Questioning the information I'd given to Vice President Pence about when we can get back into chambers, I assured her that information was correct. I could get them back into chambers by 7 p.m. and the call ended. That was call number two. Call number three was 6.25 p.m. I was over at the Senate from the secure location, I mean from where the Senate had been sequestered, and on a cell phone using Robert Karam's cell phone, they dialed leadership who was over or off site at a secure location, and I briefed all of the leadership of the plans to get them back into chambers. That would have been call number three with Speaker Pelosi. So you didn't have one call, you didn't have two calls, you had three calls, so Speaker Pelosi's comments that she didn't speak to you are inaccurate. That is correct, sir. I went to go talk to the Lexus’ driver, but first I read the note on the windshield: “THIS WOMAN WAS TAKEN BY ICE. Please don’t hit or tow.” Neighbors put that there, and put a tarp over the window that ICE broke open so snow wouldn’t get in. The Lexus driver, a short, brown haired white woman told me she lived in the area and was driving through looking for parking, when armed ICE agents speedily blocked off the street in front of her, and swarmed the white pickup truck in front of her grabbing its driver. She said people came from throughout the neighborhood with whistles to record them grabbing that driver, and as she was trying to leave, ICE agents swarmed her vehicle as well and proceeded to open her window and door and remove her from her car, slamming her facedown in the street. She said a Federal agent entered her vehicle and parked it like this, before taking her away. I don’t know the story of the pickup driver. I'll be honest, I didn't really believe what I was hearing at first until she showed me the video that a neighbor filmed, confirming the whole story. I asked her to airdrop it to me so I could make this post. This woman was just driving and minding her business one moment, and the next she was snatched, she told me that they said she was "obstructing an investigation." After 24 hours in Federal custody, they released her with only the white shirt she was wearing when I met her, into the -8F cold where her sister was waiting, and they didn't give her back her car keys. She came to make sure her vehicle was still there. There's a lot of people on this platform making all sorts of excuses for the Federal government's despicable behavior in Minneapolis, but what it comes down to is this: they are out of control. They are Out. Of. Control. This woman's story that I saw firsthand is emblematic of the institutional rot at the core of DHS, CBP, and ICE. The agents involved in both shootings this month were 8- and 10-year veterans, not untrained amateurs. There have been three homicides in Minneapolis thus far in 2026- 66% of them have been US citizens murdered by the Federal government. My city is being subjected to a full-fledged occupation by lawless, unprofessional, un-American thugs. They have gone far beyond their stated mission of removing violent criminals and illegal aliens. They have all of us looking at every SUV, every vehicle with out-of-state plates, every vehicle with more than 2 men in it with caution, scrutiny, and concern. Many of my friends have bought guns or have gone to get their conceal carry permits, to stay safe from their own government because it's better to be judged by twelve than to be carried by six. Minneapolis will survive this and will come out stronger for it, because we learned in 2020 that there's no one coming to save us, it's up to us to show up for our friends and neighbors. 🚨WOW!!! A Bronx pizzeria owner saw a woman eating out of his GARBAGE. He walked outside, took her by the hand, led her in, and pulled a hot slice straight from the oven for her. An army that had never lost marched out of Persia to erase Athens from the map. It stopped 26 miles short. Darius sent roughly 25,000 men. Athens fielded about 10,000, plus a thousand Plataeans who didn't have to show up and came anyway. No Sparta......they were "busy with a religious festival" that happened to end the day after the fighting was over. The Athenians didn't wait to be surrounded. They charged first, at a run, across open ground, straight into an army that outnumbered them more than two to one. By the end of the afternoon, Herodotus counted 192 Athenian dead. And 6,400 Persians. That ratio is the part nobody explains. Miltiades, the Athenian general, knew he couldn't match the Persian line man for man across its full width. So he didn't try. He thinned his center down to a few ranks deep and packed his wings thick instead. Weak middle, strong edges..... the opposite of what a smaller force is supposed to do. The Persians hit that weak center and did exactly what you'd expect. They broke through it. While the Persian center pushed forward into the gap, the two reinforced Athenian wings swung inward and closed on them from both sides. The strongest part of the Persian army ended up surrounded by the weakest part of the Greek plan. There's also the running itself. Greek hoplites usually walked into contact ..... a slow, heavy advance built around keeping the shield wall intact. At Marathon they closed the final stretch at a run instead, some 200 yards of open ground, specifically to spend less time inside Persian archery range. Herodotus records it as unusual enough to mention. Persian cavalry, meanwhile, wasn't even on the field for the main clash. Most historians think it had already been loaded back onto the ships, which is part of why Miltiades picked that morning to attack in the first place. It wasn't inevitable. Four of the ten Athenian generals wanted to wait for Sparta. It was a tied vote broken by a civil official, Callimachus, who came down on the side of attacking immediately, and died in the fighting. From the age he could walk he roamed the cliffs and fields of the Scottish coast. Something about the wild world would not let him go. In 1849 his family emigrated to Wisconsin. His father worked the family from dawn to dusk. John wanted to read. To think. To study. So he invented a machine that tipped him out of bed at one in the morning.
