Hmmm. How’s he planning to fill the gap along the left cabinet & wall where cut the shims? Nobody know how to scribe a cabinet anymore?

Try that on a solid plastered wall in the UK, you'll need more than a 1/4" shim to level those buggers out.

Wait…what is going on with that drill. I’ve been in construction for 25 years and have never seen that.

He also has the patience for such a job. You can have all the tools you need, but if you rush things, something won't be right. Nice work.

Me, "Great everything is level and plumb, but wait why are the cabinet tops sloping to one side along the wall to the ceiling?" It is a joy when houses are level and plum when they are not it's time for fashia boards and shadow trickery to draw the eye away. The more you do specific and detailed work the more you see jobs where good and bad decisions were made.

What's needed is proficiency and experience, I think.

I would never drill holes in clients wall under the uppers where they can see, that's just a no. Sometimes everything isn't all about being convenient for you 🤦‍♀️
