If it weren't for Israel, Lebanon would have been branded the "Crusader occupation" and would have been fought by the Islamic world the same way Israel was, and even though Christians in Lebanon submitted and shared their sovereignty, Islam destroyed Lebanon anyway. Today, Christians in Lebanon should take advantage of the hostility between Sunni and Shia to bring the Sunnis to peace with Israel, because the Muslim population would never walk with a non-Muslim leader toward peace if it weren't for this hostility. Today on BBC News (UK) commenting on the CIJ_ICJ ruling. Israel is now officially on trial for #genocide. That means all third parties that have offered material support for this genocide, including the UK and US, are on trial for complicity. Israel is not defending itself. It is defending its 76-year-old ethnic cleaning, colonial occupation and its suppression and denial of Palestinian rights. It is we, the Palestinian people under occupation, that have the right to self-defence.
