Without Democrat cooperation, the Section 702 program will go dark in four days. America’s enemies, however, will not go dark. I hope my Democrat colleagues will rethink their decision to hold the program hostage before we all have cause to regret the consequences.

I hope Republicans hold the legislation hostage — peacefully — by attaching the SAVE America Act to FISA in order to force you to vote for it. Then, when the Harry Reid parliamentarian tries to remove it from the bill, I hope Vice President JD Vance overrules MacDonough.
