I've tried explaining to people how truly different and magical it was, despite the threat of the Cold War, but they just don't get it.

I was born in 1971. Child in the 70s. Teenager in the 80s. Young adult in the 90s. Looking all the way back through history, I can't think of another time I would've rather been born and grew up in. And for that, I will be thankful until the end of my days.

Notice the lack of hatred. Of all kinds like we are having to deal with today. We all felt like blacks and whites were getting along. We were all doing better economically. We had no big homeless problems or fentanyl death. Nobody was calling Republicans NAZIS, etc.

Hell ya. I'd be scoring me some Apple, Google, Amazon stocks and Bitcoin when it popped up.

I was born in the 80’s and grew up in the 90’s. So wish I was born in the 70’s instead!

I just wish we knew how good we had it.
