Head coach Dave Aranda's full quote on what he would say to frustrated fans: "We’ve got a bunch of really, really good people in the program that are doing everything they can to get wins and to make it an entertaining product for the fans. It means so much when there are fans there and there’s a home-field environment. I look at the guys that are on our team right now, who have been through so much and are such quality football — really good football players — more than that, but just quality people. They’re the type of people that maybe some of the people who are talking about them knew them better, would be all for them, and support them no matter what. I think for them, to have it where their work is being rewarded with people that got their back in a critical game would be cool, but I understand what you’re saying. I can definitely see that."

Fantastic turnout for the Celtic Fans Collective "Sack the Board" protest before today's game against Aberdeen. Credit to the eloquent speakers who raised a number of points which resonated with the crowd. Paul Quigley's speech about the Board draining the joy out of being a Celtic fan rung particularly true. Only element missing was the fact there was no mention of what would happen if the Board were ousted. Would the fans be expected to step in to support a share issue in the same way they did for Fergus - or are the Collective hoping that a Celtic-minded "generous benefactor" (© The Railway Children) would step in? Until they can devise some concrete plans for the next step, it's unlikely they'll be able to garner the support of the wider Celtic fanbase.

Wonderful and very friendly atmosphere at Selhurst Park Crystal Palace F.C. yesterday for the final game of the season. Wonderful to see Ebere back at the ground where he got a wonderful reception. Congratulations to Arsenal on lifting the trophy for the first time in 22 years. However, I do have an idea for the Premier League …. As Palace season ticket holders we were told under no circumstances were we to swap our tickets and let Arsenal fans have them. Indeed, if we were found to have done that we would be denied season tickets for next year. Completely understandable as I’m sure there were safety concerns. Not surprising though that we were actually surrounded by Arsenal fans pretending to be Palace fans by either wearing Palace shirts or plain white tops for the match only to take them off and replace them with Arsenal shirts they had in their pockets at the end of the game! Now I’m not complaining about what the fans did at all. They were wonderful, friendly and even joined in on “Glad All Over” and applauded the Palace team, players and Oliver Glasner at the end of the game. We got lots of “Good luck in Leipzig” wishes from them too. It was a really friendly atmosphere. But I completely understand their frustration at how hard it was to get tickets for many who were lifelong Arsenal supporters. Chatting with them they said that 2400 seats available for sale. 1200 kept by Arsenal for themselves so only 1200 seats available for the match where they were going to be presented with the trophy. No wonder lots of fans did all they could to get tickets any way possible. So here is a suggestion for the Premier League for next season when working out the fixtures….. Realistically there are probably only 4 or 5 teams who will possibly win the league next year. So why not make sure all those teams have a home game as their final game of the season? In that way the tens of thousands of supporters who go to every home game will have the opportunity to see their team lift the trophy and actually be there rather than having to watch it later on TV? Surely that can’t be too difficult to arrange and if all the potential winners have a home game as their final match there is no unfair advantage towards any of those sides? What do you think? Ethiopia's Ambassador to Kenya, Bacha Debele, told the BBC in an interview about Eritrea and the FANO militia that in the event of a war between Ethiopia and Eritrea, the Eritrean state would be "completely eliminated" and "no Eritrean government would remain." Ambassador stated that the borders between the two countries would "change" and there would be "no lines or marks between them." Because let’s be honest: being physically close to them doesn’t always mean you actually get to see them clearly or interact with them. It’s like having them right there, yet somehow still far away. I know both of them are aware of this, and that’s why they try to find ways to share at least a few seconds with each fan. Est talks with the organizers to plan a walk around the venue that allows them to greet all the fans, while William shares his idea of the route with LYKN so that every fan has the chance to see them or say hello.
