The Foreign Minister of Oman who was the mediator for the talks said explicitly that Witkoff and Kushner had not understood the Iranians. Last year, EU officials said the same thing about Witkoff failing to understand Putin. Witkoff and Kushner also both have conflicts of interest. We are dealing with war & peace and human lives.
