Sorry, but I’m going to have to disagree with you on this one. Blue-collar man here, and yes, I do get a pedicure from time to time—with the full foot and calf massage. I’m on my feet all day in work boots, so yeah, my feet deserve to get pampered every now and then. Plus, the older you get, the harder it becomes to bend over and trim your own toenails! 😂I also get massages because construction is hard on your back. There’s nothing wrong with taking care of yourself, especially when your job beats you up physically every day.

I think she missed the point. Her husband just wanted to get away from her. And make it look like he was busy by taking all of his tools out and saying he had to go to Home Depot. If he had it his way, he’d probably have a boat and go fishing or have a quad and go hunting. Or have a sports car and head to the track. Etc.. But no, she’s relayed him to the garage and he’s allowed to buy tools. If he gets the occasional Saturday afternoon off to work on “his own projects” otherwise she has a list for him to work on.
