What are peoples issue? There is no “rumor.” Check the toilet roll’s. Of course this is not happening everywhere but I’d sure as hell check.

Oh yeah this is good advice. It is common knowledge among cops because so many calls we get are for people shooting up in public bathrooms in stores not only Walmarts but pharmacies ,fast food places,convenience stores . Many times they lock the doors to shoot up and when we corner them in the bathrooms they try to hide the needles anywhere. Logic behind this if they overdose they will be found. A heroin user told this to me when I arrested him and asked him why in a public restroom.

Luckily, air exposure and drying significantly reduce the viability of pathogens. Toilet paper is absorbent and therefore likely to dry out quickly—further reducing pathogen survival. Also, the quantity of blood transferred in this situation would likely be minimal. This doesn't mean wipe away indiscriminately with blood stained gas station TP. It also doesn't mean to carry latex gloves, masks and personal toilet paper with you every time you use a public restroom. What it means is be aware of your surroundings.
