Woah! This could be why the Minnesota Vikings are “seriously considering” bringing in Aaron Rodgers. Dianna Russini breaks it down but it sounds like she got the sense that J.J. McCarthy may actually not be ahead of schedule injury wise 👀 “Kevin O'Connell told me on the red carpet...

Why did Two and a Half Men star Angus T. Jones call the show “filth” before leaving it in 2012? Since then, he’s left Hollywood, choosing to focus on his faith and community work. Here's the full story 👇

@Vikings @DMRussini I don't believe that. If that's even remotely true, why did Daniel Jones leave? Daniel Jones made generational money with the Giants. He could have had his Sam year with a loaded Vikings team if McCarthy wasn't ready.

@Vikings @DMRussini While I find trouble understanding that JJ still isn’t “ready” I wouldn’t put Darnold/Jones anywhere near Rodgers in ability.

@Vikings @DMRussini Dude, it was a meniscus, not an ACL and it happened in preseason, not week 12. He's ready and we're just making excuses to fit a square peg into a round hole. Rodgers ain't coming ffs.

@Vikings @DMRussini Dianna is just trying to get engagement and views by connecting Minnesota to Rodgers. The media is trying to force it into being a topic of possibility but as we saw last night and heard yesterday it simply isn't

@Vikings @DMRussini Completely irresponsible of her to introduce speculation on medical based on nothing. The franchise deadline hadn’t passed yet nor all of the Sam Darnold conversations during the combine. If there was worry they would’ve tagged him or made a real/higher offer.

Ian Wright says Kylian Mbappe could go on to be the greatest World Cup player ever. Ian Wright: "Watching him the other day, when I went and watched him live against Iraq, you could tell there's something different about his energy and the fact that he is the leader of the team. Right, Pat? He's the leader of the team. You could see it. You know, almost like he's welcoming people in. You see the celebration with Dembélé, who has won a couple of Ballond'ors or could go on to win another one. He's embracing it. I think that he's gone to that place where he's the leader of this team, and he's not bothered about that. Just maturity as well." Roy Keane: "Is that just maturity as well." Ian Wright: "Yeah. I think so. Roy." Roy Keane:: "Getting a bit older, a bit wiser." Presenter: "He's 27 now. You know, he's been in the game for almost a decade." Patrick Viera: "He's a different player from the last World Cup. He's got more maturity. He understands the game much better, about how he has to bring the players around him because, at the end, he needs those players to perform." Presenter: "He's only two goals behind Messi in terms of World Cup scorers." Ian Wright: "Yeah, but when we look at it, he's won the World Cup when he was 18. He just missed out on penalties in '22, and now he's in another one. You know, we're talking about somebody who could probably go on to be the greatest ever in respect to the World Cup. But at the moment, at 27 now... it seems like he's in exactly the right place where he needs to be right now."

Namjoon said that there were another option like choosing “Wonder where the waves are taking you” instead of “I could spend a lifetime watching you” Loved that version too😭 Q: So your song “SWIM,” I'm sure it's open to interpretation from anyone anywhere. The way I look at it, I don't know. I see it as, look, you're swimming in the ocean and you just got to go where the tide takes you. Is that partly what it's about? 🐨: It's just funny that like some people like listen to it like a just like a you know, like a typical love song, like oh, I spend lifetime watching you, like because of the lyrics of that girl, like something like that. But I think you got the point because the last, the actually the most… This is kind of behind the scene. I ever, I never told but uh, the last important like debates was that. 🐨: So there were two lines for the like “swim swim water falling off your skin swim swim, I could spend a lifetime watching you.” So there were a candidate, which is “Wonder where the waves are taking you?” So between “I could spend lifetime watching you” and Wonder where the waves are taking you”… Everybody like have talked a lot, but some people just told me, like I just loved this song because of that single line, like which is saying it's just singing like “I could spend lifetime watching you.” So we decided to got with that. 🐨: But I actually loved the vibe that it has, like “wonder where the waves are taking you?” So the song is just about it, could be also a love song for somebody because it could be quite universal. And I was thinking of the lives at the time that we were not beside the fans because we were in the military. We spent like five hundred and fifty days in the troupe, and we were just like counting day, like okay, five hundred forty nine, four hundred thirty seventy or something like that. So I was like thinking of just like swimming with the time and just one one one step, one step, pedal, pedal, pedal. So yeah, the song is actually about that!

Scottie Scheffler says they didn’t find his ball on 17 and he actually asked people to stop searching for it: “The rules official said it landed just barely left of the grandstand thing. I don't know what you call that, like a sponsor area or something. And Teddy had a beat right on where it was coming down. So when we get up there, it's past the fence that marks the TIO, so he said anything that's in there is it part of the TIO. So then we said -- we tried to figure it out. I said, if I find it, does that help me; can I drop it -- since that would be about 50 yards closer to the hole. He said, yes, you can then use that spot, but you might have to go to the other side of the TIO, which I didn't know exactly where that would be, and that's not a great angle coming across there. “So decided to stop the search and go back and drop it doing point-of-entry TIO relief. Actually I did that once this year during the Byron as well. Not something I'm proud of but I was familiar with.” He went on to say: “I stopped them. They had guys pointing from up there, like it landed right here, and I just kind of hauled up there, and I was like, guys, get out of there, stop, do not find the ball. Fortunately it was my security guy that I've had for a few years here. His name is Brucey. And then Woody was up there as well. So both those guys are pretty -- I know them quite well, so when I said, please don't look for the ball, they got out of there.” The Open

RUMOR | Jeff Grubb talks about the Obsidian closure/buyout was going around inside Microsoft Summary: Jeff checked with his sources and confirmed that at least at one point Obsidian was in the discussion to be shut down or sold. The confusion stems from Xbox making decisions/changing their minds "within a 24-hour period" when in the past it would have taken weeks/months. Transcript: "He (Christopher Dring) did not make that up. I know he didn't make that up. I've kind of, since this happened, I kind of went and looked, and it's like, 'Yeah, that was going around inside Microsoft.'" "I'm not like hearing this from other reporters or anything like that, but inside of Microsoft, this was going around: that something was happening there, but it's happening so fast, and we do know that it's the case over at Microsoft." "Xbox right now that they are making decisions within like a 24-hour period. These are the kinds of decisions that previously, under the previous leadership, would have taken weeks or months, and now she's turning these things around instantaneously." "You can go back to the Gears of War: E-Day thing where I said that everyone's like, 'That can't be true,' and I heard stories of Xbox employees leaving the Xbox Mixer, which was happening at the same time that we were doing Giant Bomb at Night when I said that, and they were turning to each other and going, 'Is this true?' They didn't know it happened so fast it did not have time to filter through that. "It sounds like things just happened very fast with Obsidian. And maybe they weren't ever like at the risk of being shut down, but I don't know if it's as clear as, like, they were always safe. And Jason Schreier didn't say they were always safe. He just said no negotiations, and they're safe now." "I think that it is a fucking clown show over there right now. The studios that are going to have layoffs on Monday seem to still not know the number that they're going to be laying off. That's happening on Monday." "'They're just flying by the seat of their pants. And the way that they are sort of justifying this. [...] It's got a startup mentality. You see, the new Xbox move fast, break things. And you could just justify anything by saying that." via: Jeff Grubb's Game Mess

Seth Rogen reveals The Interview used a real tiger because the CGI was too expensive, then the tiger wrangler started asking terrifying questions I did a movie called The Interview about North Korea, and there’s a scene with a tiger. I directed the movie with my partner, and we wrote this scene where there’s a tiger. I thought in my head it would be CG. Life of Pi had come out recently, and I was like, “We’ll get the Life of Pi tiger. Put us down for one Life of Pi.” They were like, “We can’t afford that at all. We’ve got to get a real tiger.” I was like, “Oh God.” So we found a tiger wrangler in Calgary, and we had a call with him. It was so funny because he was the least confidence inspiring person you’ve ever spoken to in your entire life. I asked, “Where’d you get the tiger?” He said, “From a stripper.” We were like, “What?” He said, “She had a tiger cub as part of her act, and it got too big, so she had to get rid of it.” We asked, “Where does a stripper get a tiger?” He said, “It’s easier than you think. You could get one.” We had sent him the script, and he said, “Let’s go over the scene. You’re not shooting this at night, are you?” I said, “Yeah, the scene is set at night.” He said, “Ooh.” I asked, “Why is that bad?” He said, “Well, they hunt at night.” He asked, “Can it be during the day?” We said, “No. Is that okay?” There was a long pause, and he said, “Yeah, it’s okay. I think it’s okay.” Then he asked, “It won’t be in a big open area, will it?” We said, “Yeah, it’s basically a giant meadow.” He said, “Ooh.” We asked, “Is that bad?” He said, “Well, if there’s a deer or something, they will go after it.” We said, “That’s bad. Should we not do this?” He said, “No, it’s fine.” Then he asked, “It won’t be raining, will it?” We said, “Yeah. We’re filming in Vancouver in the winter. It will be raining.” He said, “Oh, that’s not good.” We asked, “Why?” He said, “The rain really agitates them. They just don’t like the rain.” We asked, “Should we not do it?” He said, “No, it’s fine. It’ll be fine.”
