The irony is that the Founding Fathers wouldn't make fun of this man; they would pity him. They would wonder how America fell to such depths, the depravity and ignorance. They'd be inquisitive and want to know more. John Adams would swear at him but then, in the next breath, swear to defend his rights. Jefferson would like to debate him. Franklin would want to discuss contemporary humor. Alexander Hamilton would like to know more about America's financial health. And Washington? He would stand there, tall and quiet, and wait UNTIL THIS ASSHOLE WAS ASLEEP AND ORDER HIS CAPTURED HESSIANS AND REGULARS TO CUT HIS FUCKING THANKLESS BALLS OFF.

If you can't find this funny then that's totally on you. That's a good bit, even if it does bely the historical reasons for the order of the BoR. It's commenting on how, to a modern person, some things that were priority then, aren't so much now.
