Good morning from Western North Carolina. It has taken me almost a full year to come back up to this spot after Hurricane Helene. The kids and I used to get up early, drive the Blue Ridge Parkway to school, stop, get out here, and watch the sunrise together. It's the most special memory I have with my kids. I just haven't been able to bring myself to do it... until today. I stopped, read my Bible, reflected on how my life has changed so dramatically in just 1 year. It's the same sunrise, it didn't change. But I have. I carried a year of ache and anger up to the Parkway, knowing that grief had a very, very long year to talk... but it didn’t get the last sunrise.

After my competition, I didn’t just “treat myself.” I went into a full post show binge spiral which is pretty common after a first show, but still brutal to go through. It wasn’t just this one fun meal. It turned into days of overeating, chasing dopamine from food, and completely losing control. Over the next few posts, you’ll see exactly what I ate after this… what I tried to do to stop the spiral… and where I ended up because of it. I want to show you the REALITY of competing.. I just found one of the biggest platform bug on Polymarket that cost me my $8.5k portfolio today. Please watch this video. I opened the exact same BTC 5m market on two different devices right next to each other. My computer monitor shows 2 minutes and 50 seconds remaining. My MacBook shows 4 minutes and 02 seconds remaining. There is more than a full minute of time difference on the exact same live market. This video is undeniable proof of exactly why I lost my money today. I was trading on my computer earlier and I waited until the 5m time frame end. When Polymarket UI showed me on my computer the timeframe was completely over and the price was safely above the target, I placed a market up order to provide liquidity. I was 100 percent sure it was a zero risk move because your platform timer showed me the market was already finished and BTC price is up from the beat price. But because of this bug my computer timer was closing 1 minute earlier than the real market time. So after I placed my order believing the market was settled as Up, the actual market was still open. It kept counting the Bitcoin price movements for the next full minute after I placed my trade. During that hidden extra minute the price of BTC dropped and the market finally settled Down, instantly wiping out my entire portfolio. When people told me it might be a UI delay I was shocked, but now I have it on video. The Polymarket timer is completely broken and out of sync across devices. It Happened on J6. An Untold Story. Every J6er has a pee story. A million Patriots arrived at the Ellipse in the freezing early morning. We prayed. We laughed. We sang the National Anthem. Back then I'd look at him and feel nothing. I'd comfort him, but I didn't actually feel anything with him. But since then I've discovered that I do feel it, and I'd been holding it in the whole time. Also, when I drink a lot, I tend to black out. The next day, I don’t remember anything. And when we were filming EAT SLEEP EN DIVE, there were parts of the night where my memory was cutting in and out too. So I don’t remember the details very well, but the members kept telling me, ‘You did this,’ ‘You did that,’ and all these different stories. So I was just like, ‘Ah, I did that again, huh.’ I don’t know if they’ll show this part, but the reason I ended up drinking so much that day was because I made a bet with Ni-ki and lost. As punishment, I had to drink three shots of whiskey in a row. Since I started off by taking three whiskey shots back-to-back, my level of drunkenness was already completely different from the other members’. Then we kept playing games and having fun together, and while doing that, I kept drinking more. I gradually lost track of my own limit and crossed the line without realizing it. So yeah, there was a whole story behind that. You’ll probably understand once you watch it. You’ll see. After that, I genuinely tried not to drink so much anymore. But then during the Seoul concert period, I ended up drinking quite a bit again. That time wasn’t bad enough for me to completely black out, though. The company dinner was fine, but when we got back to the dorm, I drank with the members again. At that point, it got a little rough. My memory started getting patchy. Even so, I somehow pulled myself together, washed up properly, and went to bed clean and settled. But when I woke up the next morning, I looked absolutely terrible. 🥜: Hong has his own vibe. On his hyper days he is wildly hyper and talks a ton. But on days when he has to wake up early he goes completely silent just disappears like he disconnected or left the group chat. He's just gone. There was this one day we had an early morning flight to go abroad, and it felt like Hong wasn't even there with us. He became thin air, like he was just slowly fading away. 💬: Really? 🥜: Yeah his energy is so low when he wakes up early. the ganges is a powerful force... i remember this day clearer than most days in my life. i got sucked down into the deepest parts of the river valley, so deep there was no blue, no surface, no water.. just darkness. pitch black. when you’re that deep you curl into a ball and cover your head so you don’t get knocked out on jagged rock... no life vest, just me and the current. every time i saw nothing but black another wave smashed me into a rock and launched me up just long enough to breathe, then back into darkness. at the deepest points my lungs were empty and my body froze... at one point i gave up. said bye to myself. gulped river water and sank deeper, eyes closed. right when i was done i got pushed up one last time and heard my friend screaming to swim to the beach... too late, i was dead center of the current. people on the shore yelling my name. my body was empty, not even enough energy to paddle. i saw a huge rock and reached out, it swept past me but i caught it with two fingers. the river pulled my legs south while i dragged my body up. somehow i clawed one foot onto the rock... only my face made it up. i felt warm and wet, thought i pissed myself, but it was blood pouring down my body. i couldn’t move, just laid there... gravity pinned me onto knife-shaped rock cutting deeper. voices yelling and then blackout. an hour later a motorboat came up the river. my friend argued with the pilots and finally said fuck it, i’ll pay whatever... my eyes were filled with blood. i didn’t want to negotiate. i wanted to survive. people come to the ganges to die, to be burned to ash and returned to it... i went there to be born again. my body burned in the sun for weeks, bruised and bloodied, barely able to walk. a hostel cleaned my wounds, gave me meds. i almost lost a limb to infection, but i survived. second life... new reason to live with purpose. this sunset feels like a homecoming. days end but life keeps moving... live hard. take risks, maybe not this risky. show up every day. put your whole body and heart on the line. you’re gonna win. my full set from rishikesh is out now

My father died of a disease, hepatitis C, that was something like 40% curable when he died of it. He wasn't one of the ones who was cured. A few years after, a medicine was invented that made it 95% curable. I myself survived an early-stage cancer that, if I'd been living in 1950, I probably would have died from. So I feel the weight of bringing the benefits of this technology. I also feel the risks. I wake up every day and, you know, I read one of these threat reports, like someone tried to use our model to build biological weapons. Of course, I don't want to be responsible for that, and that's why we have very strong safeguards. Almost every day, I'm made fun of on social media because our model's biology safeguards are too strong. Biology students complain, and they make jokes that they can't use the model. But the reason for that is that we have strong safeguards. I would rather they make fun of me than wake up one day and discover that someone used our model, Claude, to kill a bunch of people. There's something about design that truly makes me happy. Before I was diagnosed with a complete SCI, I loved building thing with my hands and trying to make them unique and beautiful. The accident didn't just take my mobility, it robbed me of my creative drive. I didn't I would ever get that back that was up until Neuralink came into the picture. I was very serious about applying but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Then Noland Arbaugh comes into the picture and I see his video and I saw how passionate he was toward the whole ide and that was like a switch. I want to thank Noland because if I hadn't seen that video I wouldn't be typing this message with my thoughts. So the day I gained control of the device I had the guys install Autodesk Fusion and the first night I had my first part designed by BCI. I have been designing things non-stop since. Now lets talk tools and the first one is the ArcDroid it is a CNC robot that holds a plasma torch and can cut profiles in sheet metal. I have made numerous signs, letters and parts with this and i love it. I have also had the chance to help the local high school install and setup their CNC plasma table. I love being able to share my knowledge with others and show new technology to kids that want to learn. The next one everybody is more familiar with is the Bambu Lab X1C. It is my first 3D printer and I had no idea how dang handy these things were! I can go from thought, Neuralink, Fusion, X1C and poof! You have your part all in a matter of like a hour. I make everything from parts for my wheelchair or RC ✈ to toys for my nephew. These devices have completely changed my life. I now have my creative outlet back and I'm not done looking for new things to try. I'm thinking a laser next!!!😎 Thank you Elon Musk for the opportunity to showcase my skills, I'm extremely grateful🙏
