Wolff Responds: "Say Goodbye To The American Dream" Dated August 19, 2026

The “American Dream” vanished more than four decades ago!

It's called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe in it.

The American fascist dystopian nightmare vs Russian utopian excellence. Take that Putin… lol

The American Dream hit an iceberg and went to the bottom of the ocean a long time ago

The government is the largest, most expensive government in the history of the world and it subsidizes everything from war-healthcare, education-tech. INFLATES the currency in existence to pay for the bill by LENDING and then SPENDING is privatized by those SUBSIDIZED businesses.

Professor Richard Wolff: Trump, Hitler, and the End of the American Empire Host :Robinson Erhardt The entire conversations can be watched/ listened to on YouTube.

@BenjaminNorton

You are great. Thank you.

Does your statistician break down and show how much of your “unequal wealth” is owned by one very small ethnic group? The same group throughout history making a living via usury, fad marketing, market gambling, and outright crime?

Thank u Dr Wolff!💛

"Goodbye To The American Dream"

I would suggest reading a book by Thomas J. Stanley ; The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America's Wealthy. The majority of people reaching net worth of over One million dollars did not inherit it but ran a small business for decades.

This is why liberals will never like socialism and if it came to choice they would allow fascism to rise. they are the worst kind of fascists. Micheal parenti once said every country in the world is rich its only made poor by the rich.

Socialists are a bunch of childish losers. Grow up, get a job, and stop trying to destroy the greatest country ever.

Not most billionaires are heirs, but their SHARE in the overall population is the highest.

The industrial revolution rearranged the economy. A I and machines should rearrange the economy and government just as elon, tesla vehicles will rearrange the car industry.

"They call it the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it." -George Carlin

This compilation of George Carlin should do a half decent job of showing the modus operandi and why the "it's a big club, and you ain't in it" became so popular.

The Wolff killing it as usual. 🐺

@SpottlessMarxx It was only a dream after all.

⚡️

you’re communist scum

Yes, the American Dream ended in 2026 under Donald Trump. How convenient for you leftist hacks.

Wolff is right on the diagnosis. The version of the American Dream that previous generations could actually reach is gone for a large share of Americans under 40. Not because of lattes or lack of grit. Because the entry price for the same life was quietly raised: homes at ~5× income, cars near $50k, student debt still heavy, first jobs thinner, and a public debt load that hands every newborn a six-figure share of the bill. Monetary expansion keeps repeating the same sequence — liquidity hits assets first, inflation hits wages second. The people who already own the scarce things get richer. Everyone else pays the toll. You don’t have to accept Wolff’s preferred solutions to see the arithmetic is real. The math is public. The transfer is structural. Pretending otherwise is just noise.
