If there is no other battery in the car then that is a smart move to go longer drive especially if the jump start battery won’t fit the bonnet. Alternatively, if the nearest place to get a service is not far, she can use that to start the engine and drive for a long time as the alternator will keep generating power that will carry the car for a while until there is need for some huge power to start the engine if goes off

Well I could be wrong, but if the battery is dead and she doesn’t have the tools to get the other battery out. If this works that is. I know my truck takes 30 mins to get all the stuff out of the way to replace it.
