Woman says that the Second Amendment shouldn’t exist because evil people use guns for evil reasons. She says if something can be used to take a life then it should be illegal. Everything can be dangerous in the wrong hands. That’s why it’s critical to empower good people.

By her logic, we should ban cars, knives, hammers, and freedom of speech too, because they can be abused. The problem isn’t the tool. It’s who’s holding it. That’s why the Founders gave the good guys the right to bear arms.

I can't stand this kind of drivel. The lack of logic is dangerous. It's as if she trusts the government to turn the world into a daycare. Government is the greatest mass murderer and oppressor of mankind in world history. How can this not sink in to their thick heads?

Guns don’t create violence; corrupt systems and unaccountable bureaucracies do. Disarming law-abiding citizens only empowers criminals and tyrants. The Supreme Court affirmed in Heller that individual gun rights are foundational to liberty. Instead of stripping freedoms, enforce existing laws, lock up violent offenders, and dismantle the red tape that lets bureaucrats ignore border security and crime. A disarmed populace is a vulnerable one.

Should we get rid of our hands also? Has she ever heard of all the murders by strangling.

More people are killed with fists and feet than rifles. Still waiting for the legislation that outlaws hands...ya know that would take care of the gun problem too. No trigger fingers.

Sure stopped drugs when they outlawed them. Perhaps she needs to live in the UK for a while. Knifing people to death is so much nicer and easy to defend
