Review on the tv series: Desperate Housewives 🍿 Desperate Housewives (2004 - 2012)🎬 Created by: Marc Cherry Stars: Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria, Nicollette Sheridan What’s it about? Life on Wisteria Lane looks perfect on the outside. Nice houses, nice lawns, nice families. But behind closed doors, the 5 main housewives all have secrets. Murder, affairs, blackmail, money problems, and a lot of drama. Each season brings a new mystery on the street while we follow the women’s friendships, marriages, and messes. It starts with a narrator who’s... already dead. That tells you it’s not your normal suburban show. What I like: 1. Addictive drama- Every episode ends with a cliffhanger. You’ll say "just one more" and watch 3 more. 2. Funny + dark- It mixes comedy, mystery, and soap opera perfectly. One minute you’re laughing, next minute someone’s getting arrested. 3. The 5 leads- Their friendship feels real. Susan is clumsy, Lynette is stressed mom, Bree is perfect, Gabrielle is glam, Edie is trouble. You’ll pick a favorite. 4. Mysteries- Each season has a big "who did it" story that keeps you hooked. What i didn’t like: 1. Gets messy later- Seasons 1-4 are the best. After that the storylines get a bit wild and unrealistic. 2. Too much drama- If you don’t like yelling, affairs, and secrets, it can be too much. 3. Long- 8 seasons. That’s a big commitment. Bottom Line Desperate Housewives is the definition of a "guilty pleasure". It’s funny, dramatic, messy, and you can’t look away. It’s about how even "perfect" people have ugly secrets. Watch it if you like:Big Little Lies, Why Women Kill, Revenge Skip it if you want:A serious crime drama with no comedy Rating: 8/10 - Season 1 is a 10/10. Messy, fun, and super bingeable.

😡 EXPLOSIVE CLASH On TalkTV! 🔥 Former Labour Party spokesman James Matthewson went head-to-head with Julia Hartley-Brewer over illegal migration. A former Labour spokesman. That already tells you everything about that rotten party. Matthewson accused her of scaring listeners every day with coverage of the boats. Julia hit back with the hard data: migrants from certain countries have far higher crime rates. “It is TRUE! Per capita is off the scale higher than from other countries.” His reply was classic slippery evasion: “This belief of yours is rooted in an idea that Britain is somehow a land of milk and honey and good people and we’re all the best and people out there, the others, from other countries are scary and savages and barbaric is not the reality.” Julia called it exactly what it is — nonsense. No one pretends Britain has no criminals. Every country does. The point is that people from places with high criminality and little regard for the rights of women, children or gay people pose a greater risk. Denying that is just disingenuous virtue-signalling. Matthewson doubled down: “We are seeing a rise of ethno nationalism, a rise of racism, a rise of intolerance and xenophobia and it comes back to the fact that you are scaring listeners every day.” Julia’s response was perfect: “It’s all my fault because people have noticed there’s a problem. We’re not allowed to notice facts.” Exactly. For years the game has been the same: point out the obvious problems with mass migration and you get smeared. It doesn’t work anymore. The country has noticed. The game is up. She then went for the throat: “James, if you’re under the illusion that the risk of somebody coming from a country where they have high levels of criminality, very little concern for the rights of children or women [or] to gay people, that those people are not a bigger threat to people in this country than coming from countries that do have similar values to us, I think you’re living in cloud cuckoo land!” To finish, Matthewson tried claiming the high ground as “the feminist and left woke whatever amongst us.” Julia burst out laughing. “You’re a feminist?!” “By the way, all in favour of men who claim they’re women in women’s toilets, right? Feminist?” Matthewson: “Yeah, because I believe trans women are women, Julia.” Julia: “Yeah, because you believe in fairytales.” Say no more.
