It was a very long and tiring day yesterday for our team, and a wonderful one for the animals of Damascus. The road was long and in terrible condition, with pot holes from the shelling and bombing, making the journey arduous and uncomfortable. But it was so worthwhile. 314 cats were vaccinated and 68 dogs. 53 cats were neutered and 1 dog. Another 245 animals were treated for various ailments and illnesses. Will you please help us, and make it possible to take our clinics into more towns and cities?

The struggle deepens... relentless rain, fragile tents, and Gaza's muddy roads swallowing every step A tent is not a home, and rain is no mercy when it floods every corner No real shelter, no safe streets - just survival against all odds Children sleep soaked, ambulances slip through mud.. Gaza was drowned in blood and no one moved... Will their consciences be moved when it is drowned in rain? My dear friends... Despite the rain, I checked on the cats... You can't imagine how wonderful they are, searching for safe, rain-free places... They are truly amazing.. I saw two cats hiding in an old oven that wasn't being used because there was no gas. I saw two more cats under the stairs. I saw three cats under my sister's car. Don't worry, the car won't move; there's no gasoline in Gaza... My dear friends, I desperately need your support to feed the 17 cats who survived the genocide with me.. Tareq is my wonderful friend. He’s so kind and caring. He is a busy medical student who works tirelessly during his time off to help little ones in Gaza. He even has a child who was wounded in #Gaza living with him. He also sends me so many pictures of him and his cats, which I really appreciate . I am so honored to be his friend.

Brady is patiently waiting for his forever family to find him. He's a wonderful 2 year old boy. He is great with people, cats, dogs and even chickens. He loves playing, chilling, cuddling and definitely learning new things. Someone must be looking for a dog like Brady to join their family 🙏🙏 In the meantime his foster family are making sure he's getting lots of love ❤️❤️❤️

Vincent the cat is a very lucky fellow. He was born with an unusual birth defect that left him without hind legs, but luckily, he was adopted by Eugenia Comiza. All her (Comiza Eugenia), work and life to save disabled cats.. This is what it means to be humane. She's a wonderful human being and the way the cat thanks her, is a testament to how amazing she is. God Bless her.🙏

Friends! A Report from yesterday and the Triplets’ Vet visit. Mum feels very Silly. Firstly, because she didn’t ensure Dad would be around to help her. Secondly, because she didn’t think the Cat Box Situation through. She managed to get all of the cats into the new big cat box. But then realised she couldn’t lift it! So she had to take Ron out (as he is the heaviest) to put him in the old, smaller Cat Box. At that point, Ron caught on to what was happening and turned into a Slippery Eel. Mum couldn’t keep hold of him. It was quite something to behold and involved five chases around the house. Baby Dog and I did help to supervise and reassure the Triplets once they were all in the Boxes. Mum had to use all her muscles to get both Cat Boxes to the Vet on her own. However, once there, it all went very well. The Vet and all the Nurses were besotted with our gorgeous Triplets and they got lots of fuss (along with their jabs!) The Vet said they are all Very Healthy Indeed, which is wonderful 🤎🧡🤎 #cats

❤️‍🩹🌤I am very glad the rain has stopped, my friends, and my cousin Mo and I were able to go for a tour around the area to check on the many suffering people in North 🇵🇸#Gaza. We helped some people with some money so that they can buy whatever they need most. We asked to take pictures with them but they were very shy, it is very hard for people to have so little and no ability to help themselves. It is nice to be able to help some people. Will you please help us to do this for more people, by donating and sharing my message? I also wanted to tell you that I have called the Sulala Animal Rescue, he is very busy but he will call me as soon as possible for the food for the 🐈#cats. This is wonderful news, dear friends, could you help me obtain as much of it as possible? It’s going to be so good to be able to feed many more cats than before.. 🚨🫂🙏 🙏🆘️ 🐈🐾🚨 🫂🐾 🙏🚨🐈

Picture books are a wonderful way to grow your child’s vocabulary. 📚 What they lack in terms of story, they often more than make up for in their interactive opportunities - providing a chance for your toddler to “read” the book themself and for the two of you to engage in rich conversation about what each page reveals. This video of little Chael, seen here at 26 months, shows so many great things (not the least of which is his wonderful Glaswegian accent). First, appreciate all the rich vocabulary this particular book (My Zoo) introduces - including a whole host of animal names he’s unlikely to have had call to access otherwise that day barring a trip to the zoo. I particularly love watching him reconcile the differences between the book’s 3 big cats - all of which connect to his existing knowledge of lions. (A tiger is initially labeled as a lion, but subsequently the leopard is both “a lion bigger… and a tiger too.” You’re watching him grow his big cat schema right before your eyes! So cool.) When he can’t initially recall the word zebra, he calls it a “zoo” - opening a little window as to where he’s encountered one in real life. And I’d be remiss not to mention my favorite moment - when he mislabels a rhinoceros as an octopus. It may seem an odd pair to mix up, given the dissimilarities in their environments and physical traits… but they have something important in common that I believe he’s calling upon here: complex names. This is what happens when you put a woman to do a man’s job. I mean, of course women are welcome in the world of video games, whether as developers, as people involved in the industry in some way or simply as players. But this mentality that everything has to appeal to everyone, and then putting a woman to make decisions in a franchise that has always been very focused on a male audience, is a very, very big risk. If you’re going to put a woman in charge of products aimed at a male audience, she has to be very good at understanding what men want and have the professionalism to respect that. In the case of this video, we can clearly see that this was not what happened. This woman cared more about putting in “cute” and “nice” things that suit her own taste instead of focusing on pleasing the target audience. And look… I’ve been to a neko café in Japan. It’s wonderful. I love cats, I’m a proud cat lover, and I’m not ashamed of that. I’ve rescued more than 10 cats from the streets, I love these little creatures. But for the love of God… I don’t want to see cute little kittens in my shooter, which is supposed to be full of testosterone.
