Reminds me of all that talk about Elon's package 😂

So what you're saying is you like it.

Need to see how it performs at scale first before I decide, but at this stage I'm all in

i learned to dodge cars, not cars with a space program

Brilliant writing, sir.

Tesla must lay out the terms and conditions under which the merger will happen in an easy to understand manner, showing clear benefits for Tesla investors. Once it is clear that the merger only happens if the conditions are met, then it will be difficult for anyone to argue against it. Similar to Elon's compensation package, but a reward for investors instead. There is no way investors will vote "No" to paying themselves. I do not see any way this passes without clear compensation for Tesla investors.

It’s painful to think that xAI recently was considered a burden due to cash burn and now it’s the engine on which $spcx is going to accelerate rev/earnings on the key offering that will drive short term growth. In theory, xAI could have been bought by $tsla instead of $spcx. Let’s get this merger announced and completed asap.

So Woods is firm... Is that also called a Woody?

A merger would make Tesla worth zero

Timing of the merger announcement has everything to do with the value of SpaceX

In principle would mean the price doesn’t matter not that you haven’t valued it. I’d like to see Tesla actually do anything it says… 2027 was supposed to be a “bonkers” year in earnings growth. Prolly a dud.

Your end argument is that he needs to increase $SPCX to make $TSLA get a worse deal in a merger? And that will encourage $tsla shareholders to just give up…

All in SPCX

Most investors don’t have to mental bandwidth to model out Tesla and SpaceX unfortunately. It’s a dangerous thing to go into without a very clear explainer. Sadly most investors won’t be able to read your valuation either.

Confident of a merger from a firm that can't sign it

A lot of Tesla investors don’t want to push back their timeline by a decade. They want to see share appreciation from FSD, Cybercab and Optimus in 5 years, not data centres in space in 10-15 years

In terms of timing, for this shareholder meeting, Oct 29 is likely the latest for a merger announcement so that it could be voted on then. Not by my calculations, this was from Grok about a month ago. This is anchored by using the latest date a shareholder meeting could be held and meet SEC requirements. Will the old Grok be correct, wait and see.

Nice. 69% sure.

In principle, I am in support of a merger. However as an investor that has Tesla for his retirement, I have to think about how quickly SpaceX can be more profitable than tesla. I see SpaceX taking longer to reach those profitability numbers that Steven seems to think that they are going to achieve. I have a more pessimistic view on it. I believe they will accomplish the numbers but it will take longer than expected. So the question I have is which one of these two companies will be more profitable first? I believe it's Tesla. Robo taxis right now are ramping up revenue and that is going to explode in the next 5 years.

Interesting take on Tesla & SpaceX. You and @MattSevenich are top tier follows

Probably nothing
