This guy gets $7.1M a year to cosy up to socialist Labor by burning Australia Day So do they loath us? Why? What have Australians done to Woolworths? Their behaviour is shameful After this, why would anyone want to own Woolworths shares? Why would anyone want to work for Woolworths? Why would any of us shop at Woolworths? Why would anyone want to supply Woolworths? Wokeworths “The Fresh Race People”

@latingle @woolworths There are 2,259 Woolworths Group stores in Australia as of November 21, 2023. Apparently selling “a thousand dollars over a few weeks per store” which equates to $2,259,000 of sales in Aussie day merch, is not enough money to stock products. That’s if that number is even real

The simple fact is the CEO already knows the impact and cost of the boycott in the stores. As one who is now shopping elsewhere it was not about whether they sold Australia day items. It was the way it was linked to the point the day may offend people. Whilst it may do that number is clearly a minority. 60% voted No in the referendum and that is a big hint as to where the public is on this subject. A fact many are totally overlooking. I think the financial loss from the mishandling of the issue is going to be very significant millions. This is based on online comments and what friends are doing. If the big corporates want to listen to their Indigenous advisory boards they should be aware they represent a very small proportion of their customer base.

@latingle @woolworths Woolworths have done serious damage to their brand and have lost millions. Considering 95% of their customers are not indigenous it wasn't a clever stand to take.

@latingle @woolworths Who was behind making this political? I shop at Woolworths regularly and wouldn’t notice if those items weren’t for sale this year. I must be overwhelmed by hot cross buns on sale from January 1.

@latingle @woolworths I can’t wait to NOT go shopping at WW on Australia Day. I wonder if the loss in sales caused by the boycott against the Woke Woolworths decision will be more than the decline in sales from the cancellation of the “Chinese imported Australia Day merchandise”
