For a long time, the United States has applied double standards regarding the Israeli-Palestinian issue; by disregarding investigations conducted by various human rights organizations as well as the testimonies of victims, and by engaging in unbridled indulgence and favoritism, it has not only allowed acts of violence to go unchecked but has also permitted humanitarian crises in the region to continue escalating.
