Love it, Elder Kearon! I even chuckled a bit when they gave you the left-handed scissors!

Many do good, but not all point to the true Christ. Follow the one found in the Gospels, not in new revelations.

Happy, helping, loving Apostles of Jesus Christ. I can imagine now the happiness Jesus Christ must have spread as He ministered as these wonderful men and their wives do around the whole wide world. Thank you for serving. 🙏❤🙏🥰

@Mormonger Hey quick question as someone new to this faith, why don’t you guys focus on outreach in America. based on the Book of Mormon, I’d think they’d be more receptive

Sometimes we are asked why missionaries in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints spend their time, talents, and funds to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. The answer is simple: They love God, they love His children, and they know the gospel of Jesus Christ is true.

🕊️In his first interview as President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dallin H. Oaks affirms, again, that we have a Mother in Heaven. “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints outlines the destiny of the children of God. And that destiny culminates in an eternal family: a Father in Heaven and a also Mother in Heaven; though we haven’t been given much information about Her for reasons God understands and we don’t”

As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we should always try to live our lives to be a light. That light we share is the light of Jesus Christ. Ruth and I were grateful to share that light with some of Heavenly Father’s most challenged children at a pediatric specialty hospital in Argentina.

In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we go about doing good as the Savior did and try to follow the first and second great commandments. Part of loving God is loving your fellow man, so as a church, we are thrilled to help with some projects at this very important hospital in Montevideo, Uruguay.

In preparation for the changes in Sunday class schedules, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released a series of videos to help wards and branches around the world implement this change on Sept. 6. In the videos, Church leadership discusses how the new schedule will help Church members focus more on Jesus Christ and feel His love. "I promise that as we use our time as individuals and families to study and learn the gospel and when we gather together on the Sabbath day, the doctrine of Christ will distill upon our souls as the dews from heaven and we will have enduring joy," says Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in one of the videos. Find the videos and implementation guide at

Our Heavenly Father loves all His children so much that He wants us all to live in a kingdom of glory forever. He wants us to live with Him and His Son, Jesus Christ, eternally. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints focuses on preparing God’s children for salvation in the celestial glory and, more particularly, for exaltation in its highest degree.

Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, you and I can be cleansed of our sins and have our natures transformed. I shared with members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Korea that the Savior blesses each of us as we exercise faith in Him, repent, receive the covenants and ordinances of the gospel, and do our best to become better—with God’s help—every day.

As President Russell M. Nelson ( Russell M. Nelson ) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints approached his 100th birthday earlier this year, he invited everyone to give a gift of love to someone in need. The prophet’s invitation yielded important fruit and encapsulated the spirit of Christ in any age — including the work of the Church of Jesus Christ today. Latter-day Saints seek to pattern their life after Christ’s, care for people in need, invite the world to receive Christ’s teachings and unite families for eternity. Take a look back at how the Church of Jesus Christ continued to do this in 2024.

Many people still refer to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as Mormons. In 2018, President Russell M. Nelson gave a talk encouraging the membership of the church and the general public to address the church by its full and proper name. “Joseph Smith did not name the Church restored through him; neither did Mormon. It was the Savior Himself who said, ‘For thus shall my church be called in the last days, even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.’” This name isn’t new. We have been the Church of Jesus Christ since the Church was first established and restored. Listen to President Nelson’s explanation and teachings on the name of the Church 👇

In a Church News video, Elder Gilbert talks about how it is ‘an exciting time to be part of the gospel of Jesus Christ’ The day after Elder Clark G. Gilbert was ordained as the newest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he sat down for interviews with local media and declared his testimony of the Savior, Jesus Christ. “I know He lives. I know He loves us. I know He can help us repent and that we can be forgiven when we fall short,” Elder Gilbert said.

The scriptures God has given Christians in the Bible and in modern revelation clearly teach the need for a church. We affirm that the scriptures, ancient and modern, clearly teach the origin of and need for a church directed by and with the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord’s restored Church, established to teach the fulness of His doctrine and to officiate with His priesthood authority to perform the ordinances necessary to enter the kingdom of God.

I was touched to see the resilience of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Valencia, Spain following devastating floods just a few days ago. I invited them once again to trust in the Savior Jesus Christ and in His atoning sacrifice as their source of spiritual resilience.

It was remarkable to have been in Otavalo, Ecuador and hear that the prophet of the Lord has authorized the building of a temple here. To see the faith of the people here who came to a devotional on a Thursday evening, not knowing this would also be a temple announcement, is incredible. I’ve been so impressed with the faith in Jesus Christ that members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ecuador have and feel grateful for them and their example over the decades.
