I only got to play one song at EDC. Winds were over 40mph and they had to shut down the stage. I had a feeling they were about to close, so I picked my favorite song knowing it might be my only one. I’m grateful that I got to share it with you 🙏 I hope everyone stayed safe. crazy moment, Childish Gambino says he had a stroke and a hole in his heart, so he had to have surgery📍 this was the reason he canceled the rest of his Bando Stone And The New World tour last year “had a really bad pain in my head in Louisiana and I did the show anyway... Houston I went to the hospital and the doctor was like, you had a stroke... anf the first thing I thought was like here I am still copying Jamie Foxx.... that’s really like the second thing... the first thing was like I’m letting everybody down... I broke my foot… they found a hole in my heart… so I had this surgery... everybody has two lives and the second life starts when you realize you have one… You got one life, guys. And I got to be honest. The life I've lived with you guys has been such a blessing. I love seeing and performing for you guys. As my wife says... if this life is a flavor, as soon as I'm done, give me another scoop. You should be living your life how you want. You were born in the middle of the night, in the midst of the biggest, most beautiful snowstorm NY had seen in years!! I remember riding in the car and looking out the window, where everything was twinkling and covered in white that night, as I held you both in my belly for the last few moments before I gave birth to you. It was as if God was making sure you would enter a world full of pure magic!! In my heart, I knew that’s how your life would always be!! When I would hold you as infants, I honestly felt as if I were holding two angels sent straight from heaven above. My life was changed forever. I cannot believe you are now adults…18 years old! You are both so kind-hearted, generous, and loving. I felt anxious and had a lot of mixed emotions. But now that I'm actually standing on stage, hearing the cheers of our fans and feeling this energy we share together firsthand, I'm truly so, so happy. I don't know, I really believe this is just the beginning, I truly believe that. In the future, we are going to become a team that rises all the way to the top, so I hope everyone here today will stay with us until that day comes. We will work really hard. Thank you so much! And also to our global fans... yeah! Oh... Honestly, thank you guys so much for being here, for being present here at our first fancon. Something happened to me last night during the 12 AM SSPX Easter Mass. It was during the Offertory Collection. Go figure. The "O Filii et Filiae" was chanted. I sang along with my whole heart. And I felt the Resurrected Presence of Our Lord fill my soul like incense in an ancient and beautiful way. I cannot yet put into words the significance of what took place. All I know is that His incense still permeates my soul, and His light has profoundly illuminated my conscience. The "O Filii et Filiae" will never be the same to me. It will always be a Jacob's Ladder upon which I can climb to reach Him. And for that, I am forever grateful. Jesus, You never cease to amaze. Thank you so very much.
