Hilarious to watch but also very annoying as the fact they all failed clearly meant they didn't have enough time... What a waste of ingredients 🙄

Rather than Paul H spout on about being ‘let down’ perhaps give them a fighting chance and a better recipe to work from!

Maybe Paul's advice should have been something useful like "they take longer than you think to cook" or "half your time is for cooking".

I’d like to know how long it took to make the ones that Prue & Paul showed ahead of the challenge? I suspect it was more than 90 mins & that the person making it was given full instructions. We don’t watch #bakeoff to see wasted ingredients esp in a #costofliving crisis. 😡

Don’t blame the bakers. Blame the instructions.

It wasn’t a lack of time. The bakers lacked the knowledge to understand how long to bake the puddings, they timed them like cakes. There was sufficient time, they just didn’t use it properly. They are quite an old fashioned bake, they probably haven’t made them before.
