Why are they going on strike? Well, issues like being offered 2% raises when inflation is 10% and the cost of food is up 16%. More below.

Meanwhile, Washington is throwing bailouts at the rich and union leadership is sitting on its hands. We need activist leaders not establishment apologists in those positions.

Trade unions are the elemental form of working-class organisation and power. Fighting trade unionism can secure victories for its members. Militant, rank-and-file trade unionism empowers workers. Solidarity with the 100,000s of workers who have been on #strike across Britain.

If only we could get this energy in the Lower 48 going. 😔
